PERMAINAN MONOPOLI SEBAGAI MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN SUB MATERI SEL PADA SISWA SMA KELAS XI IPA

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan media permainan monopoli, dan mendeskripsikan kelayakan media permainan monopoli sebagai media pembelajaran biologi SMA kelas XI IPA semester 1 pada materi Sel. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan menggunakan model pengembangan 4 D model sampai tahap pengembangan (Develope). Sasaran penelitian ini yaitu media pembelajaran Sel yang dikemas dalam bentuk permainan monopoli biologi dan perangkat pembelajaran. Uji coba secara terbatas diterapkan pada siswa kelas XI IPA semester 1 SMA Al Azhar Menganti, Gresik tahun ajaran 2011-2012. Hasil penelitian ini berupa media permainan monopoli yang mendapatkan validitas secara teoritis dengan kelayakan aspek format media 90%, aspek visual 94%, aspek fungsi/kualitas media 92,86%, dan aspek kejelasan media dalam penyajian konsep 88,33%. Dari deskripsi tersebut, media permainan monopoli layak dan dapat diimplementasikan untuk kegiatan belajar mengajar pada materi struktur dan fungsi sel.Kata kunci: media pembelajaran, permainan monopoli materi sel.

PENGEMBANGAN LEMBAR KEGIATAN SISWA (LKS) BERORIENTASI KETERAMPILAN PROSES PADA POKOK BAHASAN SISTEM PERNAPASAN MANUSIA

ABSTRAK- Penelitian ini bertujuan menghasilkan LKS berorientasi keterampilan proses dan dapat diterapkan dalam proses belajar mengajar, mendeskripsikan keterlaksanaan pembelajaran, tingkat keterbacaan siswa, dan mengetahui ketuntasan hasil belajar siswa setelah menggunakan LKS berorientasi keterampilan proses. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan menggunakan model pengembangan 4-P (Four D-models) yaitu Define (Pendefinisian), Design (Perancangan), Develop (Pengembangan), sedangkan tahap Disseminate (Penyebaran) tidak dilakukan. Tahap uji coba dilakukan di SMP Negeri 7 Bangkalan pada kelas VIII-B yang berjumlah 26 siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sesuai dengan telaah LKS, LKS berorientasi keterampilan proses yang telah dikembangkan dinyatakan sangat layak untuk diujicobakan. Keterlaksanaan pembelajaran menggunakan LKS yang dilakukan dalam pertemuan I, II, dan III, telah mencapai/memperoleh rata-rata keterlaksanaan sebesar 97,62%. Tingkat keterbacaan LKS berorientasi keterampilan proses memperoleh rata-rata keseluruhan 83,1% yang menjawab “ya”, menunjukkan sebagian besar siswa berpendapat bahasa yang digunakan mudah dipahami dan penampilan LKS menarik. Ketuntasan hasil belajar produk sebesar 76,9% siswa tuntas dan 23,1% tidak tuntas, ketuntasan hasil belajar proses sebesar 73,1% siswa tuntas dan 26,9% tidak tuntas belajarnya. THE DEVELOPMENT OF TEACHING AND LEARNING (CTL)-BASED ECOSYSTEM MODULE FOR LEARNING BIOLOGY IN X-CLASS OF SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL

ABSTRACT- The use of module in learning is important because it can be a means to increase the activity and creativity of students’s learning so that the students can get the best results during the learning process. The research of development of Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL)-based ecosystem module is intended to describe feasibility of ecosystem module and describes student’s readibility dan responses to Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL)-based ecosystem module. This research is the research of development of module using 4-D models. This models consists of 4 stages that is define, design, develop and desseminate. This research was carried out only up to the develop stage. The research was conducted in biology FMIPA UNESA and SMA Muhammadiyah 4 Surabaya on June 2011 until February 2012. The parameters measured is the study of experts that be analysized descriptively. Module is said to be feasible if the interpretation of the results of expert examination ≥ 2,27. The results of the research suggest that Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL)-based ecosystem module obtains a very feasible category for use in learning. It can be seen from the results of expert examination’s average score is 3,67 with the criteria is feasible. Keywords: module, ecosystems, Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL)

PENGEMBANGAN MINI BOOK MATERI STRUKTUR DAN FUNGSI SEL UNTUK MENDUKUNG PEMBELAJARAN KELAS XI-IPA SMA MUHAMMADIYAH 4 SURABAYA

ABSTRAK- Budaya membaca memiliki peran sangat penting untuk meningkatan mutu masyarakat. Hasil observasi terhadap 24 siswa SMA Muhammadiyah 4 Surabaya, diketahui bahwa 50 % siswa suka membaca buku pelajaran ketika ada tugas, ulangan atau UTS. Hal ini berarti siswa belum menyadari pentingnya kebutuhan mereka membaca buku pelajaran secara disiplin dan berkelanjutan. Salah satu upaya menumbuhkan minat baca anak adalah menggunakan buku yang menarik dan sesuai dengan usia anak. Penelitian pengembangan mini book ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan kelayakan mini book berdasarkan hasil telaah dan keterbacaan siswa terhadap mini book. Penelitian ini dilakukan terhadap 12 siswa kelas XI-IPA SMA Muhammadiyah 4 Surabaya pada 3 April 2012. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hasil telaah mini book yang dikembangkan mendapatkan katagori kelayakan sangat baik dengan persentase kelayakan dari tiga penelaah sebesar 80,71 % dan persentase keterbacaan siswa sebesar 92,29 %. Dari hasil tes siswa diketahui bahwa 66,67 % siswa memahami materi struktur dan fungsi sel dalam mini book dengan baik. Dengan demikian disimpulkan bahwa dilihat dari kelayakan isi, kebahasaan, penyajian dan kegrafikan mini book materi struktur dan fungsi sel yang dikembangkan oleh peneliti dapat mendukung pembelajaran di kelas XI-IPA SMA Muhammadiyah 4 Surabaya. PENGEMBANGAN BUKU AJAR MATERI BIOTEKLOGI DI KELAS XII SMA IPIEMS SURABAYA BERORIENTASI SAINS, TEKNOLOGI, LINGKUNGAN, DAN MASYARAKAT (SETS)

Pendidikan IPA diharapkan dapat memberi bekal kepada peserta didik dalam menyelesaikan permasalahan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari serta mampu bersifat arif dan bijaksana dalam menyikapi permasalahan yang ada. Oleh karena itu dibutuhkan buku ajar yang dapat menunjang belajar siswa dan dirancang agar siswa dapat berpikir tinggi dalam memecahkan masalah autentik dalam kehidupan sehari-hari serta penerapannya dalam masyarakat dan lingkungan serta dapat memberi bekal kecakapan hidup (life skill) siswa. Salah satu pendekatan yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan siswa tersebut ialah pendekatan SETS (Sains, Lingkungan, Teknologi, Masyarakat). Pendekatan SETS akan membimbing peserta didik untuk berpikir dan bertindak lokal maupun global dalam memecahkan masalah-masalah dalam kehidupan sehari–hari dengan mengaitkan secara timbal balik unsur-unsur sains, lingkungan, teknologi dan masyarakat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan buku ajar biologi berorientasi SETS pada materi bioteknologi yang layak secara teoritis dan empiris, mendeskripsikan respon siswa terhadap kegiatan pembelajaran biologi menggunakan buku ajar yang dikembangkan dan mendeskripsikan hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan dengan mengacu pada pengembangan perangkat Four-D models dan hanya sampai pada tahap pengembangan (develop). Data yang diperoleh dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif dan diuji cobakan secara terbatas pada 20 siswa SMA IPIEMS Surabaya. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh hasil rata-rata persentase telaah dosen dan guru Biologi berdasarkan kriteria komponen kelayakan isi, komponen kebahasaan, komponen penyajian dan komponen SETS secara berturut-turut sebeasar 91,37%, 90,03%, 92,39%, dan 91,98%. Persentase respon keterbacaan siswa dan respon siswa terhadap pembelajaran berturut-turut sebesar 91,92% dan 93%. Ditinjau dari tes hasil belajar semua siswa dikatakan tuntas, sedangkan ditinjau dari ketuntasan tujuan pembelajaran ada 2 tujuan pembelajaran yang tidak tuntas. Berdasarkan hasil di atas dapat disimpulkan, bahwa buku ajar materi bioteknologi berorientasi SETS yang dikembangkan layak digunakan baik secara secara teoritis maupun empiris. Pengembangan Lembar Kegiatan Siswa Berbahasa Inggris dengan Pendekatan Keterampilan Proses pada Materi Sistem Pernapasan untuk Kelas XI SMA RSBI

Penyampaian materi sistem pernapasan di SMA Negeri 1 Manyar menekankan pada pemahaman konsep, belum ada Lembar Kegiatan Siswa (LKS) dan jarang menerapkan metode ilmiah melalui kegiatan praktikum. Sehingga kurang memberikan pengalaman belajar siswa secara langsung. Keterampilan proses membuat siswa lebih aktif dan dapat belajar mandiri dengan menggunakan metode ilmiah. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, dilakukan penelitian untuk mengembangkan LKS berbahasa Inggris dengan pendekatan keterampilam proses pada materi sistem pernapasan untuk kelas XI SMA RSBI. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan LKS berbahasa Inggris dengan pendekatan keterampilan proses dan mendeskripsikan kelayakan LKS berdasarkan hasil validasi dan hasil uji coba terbatas. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan dengan mengacu pada pengembangan perangkat Four-D models. Penelitian ini hanya sampai pada tahap pengembangan (develop) saja. Kelayakan LKS yang dikembangkan diukur berdasarkan hasil telaah dan hasil uji coba terbatas yang dianalisis menggunakan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Penelitian ini menghasilkan sebuah LKS berbahasa Inggris dengan pendekatan keterampilan proses pada materi sistem pernapasan. LKS ini sangat layak diterapkan di kelas RSBI. Karena LKS ini dinilai mampu melatihkan aspek-aspek keterampilan proses, yakni membuat rumusan masalah, hipotesis, menentukan variabel, menyusun prosedur percobaan, menginterpretasi data, menganalisis hasil serta membuat simpulan. Dengan skor rata-rata setiap aspek tersebut sebesar 3,60 dan berkategori sangat baik. Hasil uji coba juga menunjukkan respon positif siswa, dengan persentase respon sebesar 87%. Development of Instructional Equipment Based on Cooperative Learning on The Subtopic Modification of Mendelian Ratios

Along with the presence of international school, it is needed an english instructional equipment to support the instructional activities. The aim of this research is to develop the appropriate instructional equipment especially on Biology based on cooperative learning on the suptopic Modification of Mendelian Ratios, to know the appropriarity of the instructional equipment, to know the student’s response toward instructional equipment that developed. The development of this instructional equipment is in accordance with 4-D models consisting phases : define, design, develop, disseminate, with no disseminate phase. This research is done in University State of Surabaya and Khadijah Senior High School. The try out is done using 31 students. The object of the research is the instructional equipment. The appropriarity of the instructional equipment is gained from expert analysis and student’s responses toward the instructional equipment. The result of the research shows (1) analysis of the instructional equipment based on cooperative learning on subtopic Modification of Mendelian Ratios is appropriate, (2) there are 3 instructional goals which are not reached, to define the criptomery, to define the polimery ad to find the genotype and phenotype ratio of polimery. (3) result of student’s read toward the worksheet and student’s book show that they can be easily understood by the students from word choice, sentence, and also the content, (4) result of student’s response toward the worksheet and student’s book that used in instructional process show that the worksheet and the student’s book are interesting and can be understood by the students.Keywords : Instructional equipment, Modification of Mendelian Ratios, Cooperative learning

Profil Media Pembelajaran Interaktif Berbasis Komputer pada Materi Sistem Peredaran Darah Manusia

Materi sistem peredaran darah manusia merupakan materi yang abstrak sehingga dibutuhkan media untuk memvisualisasikan materi tersebut agar lebih terlihat konkret. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis komputer pada materi Sistem Peredaran Darah Manusia. Ujicoba terbatas dilakukan kepada 15 siswa SMA Negeri 1 Cerme. Secara keseluruhan media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis komputer pada materi Sistem Peredaran Darah Manusia untuk kelas XI R-SMA-BI telah layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran dengan kategori sangat baik (91,70%), dengan rincian berdasarkan aspek format media dikategorikan sangat baik (100%); kesesuaian materi sangat baik (95,90%); dan ketatabahasaan baik (79,20%).

Pengembangan Buku Ajar Berjendela pada Materi Sistem Reproduksi Manusia untuk SMP RSBI

Proses belajar mengajar pada materi sistem reproduksi manusia untuk SMP RSBI membutuhkan buku yang menarik dan sesuai dengan standar di RSBI. Oleh karena itu, pengembangan buku ajar berjendela pada materi sistem reproduksi manusia dibutuhkan untuk meningkatkan ketertarikan siswa dalam membaca buku ajar serta sesuai dengan standar di RSBI. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan buku ajar berjendela pada materi sistem reproduksi manusia dan mendeskrispsikan kelayakannya. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan yang mengacu pada model Fenrich. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa buku ajar berjendela pada materi sistem reproduksi manusia untuk SMP RSBI yang dikembangkan dinyatakan layak digunakan dalam proses belajar mengajar. Pengembangan Buku Saku Materi Sistem Ekskresi Manusia di SMA/MA Kelas XI

Buku pelajaran yang ada di pasaran memiliki ukuran relatif besar dengan uraian bacaan panjang, dan sebagian besar tampilannya kurang menarik. Beberapa buku pelajaran juga memuat kesalahan konsep pada materi sistem ekskresi manusia. Solusi untuk mengatasi hal ini adalah mengembangkan sumber informasi baru berupa buku saku yang berukuran relatif kecil, uraian bacaan pendek, tampilannya menarik, dan tidak mengandung kesalahan konsep. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan kelayakan buku saku materi sistem ekskresi manusia dan respon siswa. Penelitian ini dilakukan dalam dua tahap: pengembangan dan uji coba. PENGEMBANGAN LKS BERORIENTASI LINGKUNGAN SEKITAR SEKOLAH PADA MATERI EKOSISTEM DI MAN PAMEKASAN

Berdasarkan hasil inventarisasi ditemukan berbagai jenis faktor abiotik dan faktor biotik di taman sekolah, halaman depan dan samping sekolah, serta di lapangan sekolah. Hasil inventarisasi yang dilakukan di lingkungan sekitar sekolah dijadikan sebagai acuan pembuatan LKS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan LKS sangat layak digunakan dengan melihat skor rata-rata semua aspek penilaian telaah yaitu 3,76; dari penilaian keterbacaan didapat skor rata-rata kelayakan 90,83% dan respon siswa dengan rata-rata kelayakan 77,86% hal ini berarti rata-rata siswa merespon positif terhadap LKS yang dikembangkan dengan memanfaatkan lingkungan sekitar sekolah. Profil LKS IPA SMP Berorientasi Active Learning dengan Strategi Belajar Mengajukan Pertanyaan

Siswa hanya mendengarkan penjelasan materi dari guru. Selain itu, LKS yang digunakan belum bisa mengaktifkan siswa dalam bertanya dan membuat pertanyaan. Atas dasar itu maka telah dilakukan penelitian pengembangan yang berorientasi pada model 4-D dan bertujuan untuk mendapatkan LKS berorientasi active learning dengan strategi belajar mengajukan pertanyaan dari aspek struktur penyajian, materi, dan bahasa pada materi Alat Indera Manusia. Sasaran penelitian ini adalah LKS berorientasi active learning dengan strategi belajar mengajukan pertanyaan. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif, dengan hasil telaah baik dan layak digunakan (98,5%) sedangkan hasil respon siswa positif (92,96%). Simpulan bahwa LKS yang dikembangkan layak digunakan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan kelayakan bahan ajar berbasis Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) kelas X SMA pada materi Archaebacteria dan Eubacteria. Jenis penelitian ini adalah pengembangan, yang mengacu pada model pengembangan perangkat 4D. Model ini terdiri dari empat tahap, yaitu pendefinisian, perancangan, pengembangan, dan penyebaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahan ajar yang dikembangkan termasuk dalam kriteria kelayakan sangat layak pada komponen isi, kebahasaan, penyajian, dan kesesuaian dengan pilar CTL. PENGEMBANGAN LKS BERORIENTASI KECAKAPAN HIDUP (LIFE SKILL) UNTUK SMA KELAS XI PADA MATERI SISTEM PEREDARAN DARAH MANUSIA

Abstrak – Penelitian pengembangan LKS berorientasi kecakapan hidup pada materi Sistem Peredaran Darah Manusia menggunakan model 4-D. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan LKS berorientasi kecakapan hidup dan mendeskripsikan kelayakan LKS. LKS ditelaah oleh tiga orang penelaah kemudian LKS diujicobakan secara terbatas pada 15 siswa kelas XI IPA 4 SMAN 1 Pacet. LKS mendapatkan kategori sangat baik, yaitu LKS 1 memperoleh skor 3,67 dan LKS 2 memperoleh skor 3,7. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut, LKS berorientasi kecakapan hidup pada materi Sistem Peredaran Darah Manusia yang dikembangkan dinyatakan layak. Pengembangan LKS Untuk Melatih Kecakapan Hidup Pada Materi Sistem Ekskresi

LKS pada materi sistem ekskresi umumnya hanya berupa soal-soal yang menanyakan teori sedangkan LKS tentang penyelesaian masalah yang berhubungan dengan kecakapan hidup kurang tersedia. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan LKS untuk melatih kecakapan hidup yang memenuhi kriteria kelayakan dan mendeskripsikan kecakapan rasional serta sosial siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan yang mengacu pada model pengembangan Kemp. Ujicoba terbatas dilakukan pada siswa kelas XI IA SMA Negeri 3 Kediri. Metode pengumpulan data diperoleh melalui telaah LKS dan observasi. LKS kecakapan hidup dinilai layak oleh tiga penelaah dengan kriteria baik. PENGEMBANGAN MODUL PEMBELAJARAN BERORIENTASI GUIDED DISCOVERY PADA MATERI SISTEM PEREDARAN DARAH

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan modul berorientasi guided discovery pada materi sistem peredaran darah kelas XI SMA, dan mendeskripsikan kelayakannya ditinjau dari aspek isi, penyajian, dan bahasa. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan dengan dua tahapan penelitian yaitu tahap validasi teoritik dan validasi empirik. Sumber data diperoleh dari dua dosen Biologi, satu guru Biologi, dan 20 siswa SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Jombang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa telah dikembangkan tiga modul yaitu modul 1 tentang komponen sistem peredaran darah, modul 2 tentang alat peredaran darah, dan modul 3 tentang proses dan kelainan/penyakit dalam sistem peredaran darah. Secara validitas teoritik, ketiga modul yang dikembangkan sangat layak, dan berdasarkan validitas empirik ketiga modul direspon baik oleh siswa. Kata kunci: modul, guided discovery, sistem peredaran darah.

PENGEMBANGAN PERANGKAT PEMBELAJARAN BERKARAKTER PADA MATERI SISTEM PENCERNAAN KELAS XI SMA

Pendidikan di Indonesia dirasakan belum berhasil membangun manusia Indonesia yang berkarakter sehingga perlu kegiatan belajar mengajar yang dapat membangun kecerdasan akademik juga kecerdasan emosional yang dapat membentuk generasi bangsa yang memiliki karakter dan juga nilai akademis yang bagus. Salah satu upaya yang dapat dilakukan guru untuk dapat meningkatkan karakter siswa adalah dengan mengembangkan perangkat pembelajaran (Silabus, Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran (RPP), dan Lembar Kegiatan Siswa (LKS)) yang dapat menunjang pembelajaran biologi berbasis karakter. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian pengembangan dengan model pengembangan Kemp, yang bertujuan menghasilkan perangkat pembelajaran berkarakter yang layak secara teoritis. Kelayakan perangkat pembelajaran berkarakter dapat dilihat dari hasil telaah perangkat pembelajaran karakter yang dikembangkan. Hasil penelitian ini berupa perangkat pembelajaran berkarakter pada materi sistem pencernaan kelas XI SMA meliputi Silabus, Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran (RPP), dan Lembar Kegiatan Siswa (LKS) yang layak untuk diujicobakan, dengan skor kelayakan masing-masing 3,50 untuk silabus, 3,59 untuk RPP, dan 3,86 untuk LKS. Pengembangan Lembar Kegiatan Siswa Berbasis Keterampilan Berpikir Kritis pada Materi Keanekaragaman Hayati

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan hasul telaah, hasil belajar dan respon siswa terhadap LKS. Jenis penelitian ini adalah pengembangan, yang dikembangan dengan model pengembangan instruksional oleh Fenrich. Instrumen penelitian terdiri atas lembar telaah, lembar tes dan angket respon siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ketiga LKS yang dikembangkan memperoleh kategori sangat baik pada setiap aspek yang dikembangkan. Ketuntasan belajar siswa sebesar 87,5%, hal ini mengindikasikan bahwa keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa baik. Respon positif siswa terhadap LKS adalah baik dengan persentase 93,13%. Abstract—Student Worksheet based on contextual teaching and learning (CTL) on the material in the Plant Pests and Diseases for the junior class VIII. has developed. The purposes of this study are describe the feasibility of Student Worksheet doing learning, readability and student responses. The research is conducted based on 4D models. Student Worksheet was tested on 15 students in grade VIII Paciran SMPN 1. The results revelaed that the Student Worksheet is feasible, obtain good students’ response, readable, and doing learning also good. Abstract : The purpose of this study is to describe the activities of students after using inquiry learning resources based on character education in evolution. The device is tested on a limited basis in high school I Kemala Bhayangkari Surabaya by the number of 42 students. Results of the study is that students do an activity to formulate the problem, propose a hypothesis, collect data, test hypotheses, and formulate conclusions on the evolution of matter. Students show character as thorough, honest, curious and appreciate the logical and empirical approach after conducting an inquiry-based learning character education. PENERAPAN ACTIVE LEARNING DENGAN STRATEGI ROTATING TRIO EXCHANGE PADA MATERI SISTEM PERNAPASAN

Abstract — Based on observation’s result in class XI IPA 1 SMA Negeri 4 Sidoarjo on August 2011 during 2nd Teaching Experience Program, it is known that students become inactive over the time. To overcome this problem, it requires learning model that can make students remain active in learning activities called active learning. This research aims to describe rotating trio exchange students’ activities, describe students’ learning outcomes, and students’ response. The type of this study is pre-experimental research while the applied-reserach design is one shot case study. The research’s subject is students of class XI IPA 1 at SMA Negeri 4 Sidoarjo. The obtained data were analyzed using descriptive quantitative analysis. The results showed that: (1) the application of rotating trio exhange strategy improved students’ learning outcomes, (2) frequently students’ activity on each meeting is discussing in groups of three, (3) student learning outcomes showed mixed results, and (4) students’ response is very positive. Abstract— Development of observational student worksheet using comparison and contrast web strategy in Spermatophyte’s material was aimed to know the student worksheet’s feasibility, student’s activity by implementation of worksheet and students’ response towards the worksheet’s readability. This developing consists of several stages, i.e. planning, reviewing, conducting and evaluating. The results of this research are: the review result showed that the developed observational student worksheet using comparison and contrast web strategy is appropriate to be used in the field. Students showed positive response towards student’s activities by implementation of student worksheet and towards the use of student worksheet as a learning activity. Abstract— The developing of integrated character and environment education materials learning resources is the researches with the purpose are: (1) producing the eligibility learning resources to implement, (2) describing the result of mastery concept, (3) describing the valuation of character, and (4) describing the students response. This developing refers to 4D Model. The results of this research are: (1) the eligibility of learning resources to implement, (2) the mastery concept has been completed in 88,08 %, (3) the valuation of careness about environmental in score 3,47, communicative and creative character in score 3,59, and (4) the students response in score 3,39. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kelayakan dan respon siswa terhadap perangkat pembelajaran berbasis inkuiri pada materi pencemaran lingkungan dalam upaya melatih keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa.Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran menggunakan model 4-D yang terdiri dari tahap pendefinisian (Define), perancangan (Design), pengembangan (Develop), dan penyebaran (Desseminate).Tetapipenelitian hanya dilakukan sampai pada tahap pengembangan (Develop).Hasil pengembangan perangkat diujicobakan secara terbatas pada 15 siswa MAN 2 Bojonegoro.Parameter yang diukur adalah kelayakan perangkat pembelajarandan respon siswa.Analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif kuantitatif. Berdasarkan hasil validasi, perangkat pembelajaran yang meliputi, silabus, RPP, LKS, buku siswa, dan tes evaluasi layak diterapkan dalam pembelajaran karena memperoleh persentase secara berturut-turut sebesar 88,89%; 89,58%; 93,33%; 90,19%; dan 100% dengan kriteria sangat layak. Kegiatan inkuiri dalam LKS mendapatkan respon positif dari siswa yang ditunjukkan dengan persentase respon positif siswa terhadap buku siswa dan LKSsecara berturut-turut ialah 88,47% dan 87,53%. Abstract: The aims of this research are 1) produce interactive e-book media as a learning media, 2) describe the properness of the improved interactive e-book media. The phases of this research are preparation phase, media creation phase, and limited try out phase to fifteen 3rd grade students of Muhammadiyah 4 senior high school Surabaya. The result of this research showed that the improved interactive e-book media is proper. This result was shown from the research of competent lecturers and biology teachers that included media format aspect, music aspect, subject aspect, video aspect, self evaluation aspect, a 100% for each aspect. The student response result toward the improved e-book media showed an average of 94%. Keywords: Interactive e-Book Media, structure and function of plant tissue organ, improvemental research.

Abstract: This research aims to 1.)Producing web based e- Learning as a learning media 2.)Knowing students response towards web based e-learning media on structure and function plant tissues. The phases of this research are preparation phase, media creation phase, and limited try out phase to fifteen 3rd grade students of Sidoarjo 4 senior high school. The result of this research showed that the improved e-learning media is proper. This result was shown from the research of competent lecturers and biology teachers that included media format aspect quality content 100% for each aspect. The student response result toward the improved e-learning media showed an average of 87,40%. Keywords: e-learning,web, structure and function of plant tissue.

PENGEMBANGAN LEMBAR KERJA SISWA (LKS) BERBAHASA INGGRIS YANG BERORIENTASI PEMETAAN PIKIRAN MENGGUNAKAN APLIKASI iMindMap PADA MATERI STRUKTUR JARINGAN HEWAN

The objective of this research was to produce worthy worksheet in English which was oriented with mind mapping using iMindMap application on the material of animal tissue structure. This research was done using Fenrich instructional development cycle model. The research result showed that the average value of validation from two biology lectures, a biology teacher, a linguist, and a computer expert towards the student’s worksheet was about 92,81%. The percentage of student’s value to make mind map using iMindMap application was about 86,67%. Most students gave positive response towards the student’s worksheet which was developed, so the student’s worksheet was worthy to be used with very good category. Penggunaan Media Awetan pada Materi Jamur untuk Meningkatkan Ketuntasan Belajar Siswa Kelas X-1 SMA Negeri 1 Sekaran

This research aim was to (1) discover the appropriateness of student worksheet which is developed in observation activities; (2) analyze the concept understanding which is used to reach learning outcomes; (3) describe student activity; and (4) describe students’ and teacher’s response towards the observation activities. Type of research is applied research using one-shot case study. The result showed that the developed worksheet was appropriate to be used in field by score of 85, 71%. The classical learning outcomes was 91% and performed by 31 students. Student’s activities were categorized very well for each aspect by score 3,00. Teacher’s and students’ response towards the observation activities was also positive. Keywords- fungal wet-preserved media, observation, learning outcomes

Pengembangan LKS Pembuatan VCO (Virgin Coconut Oil) secara Enzimatis pada Pokok Bahasan Implikasi Bioteknologi Di Kelas XII IPA SMA

This research aims to 1) produce student worksheets making VCO enzymatically, 2) produce VCO enzymatically of fruits and leaf, 3) describe the feasibility, 4) describe result of students process skills observation in group and 5) describe the response of student worksheets has been developed. Development of student worksheets using 4-D models include define, design, develope, and disseminate, but in this study only conducted to develope stage. In the design stage begins with finding literature on proteolytic enzyme or protease contained in fruits and plants. After literatures study, conducted by making VCO based materials have been obtained. The results showed that results of VCO obtained by the addition of enzyme aloe leaf have criteria VCO is good through organoleptic tests are clear color, the aroma is typical coconut and tastes like regular oil. That results of VCO used in the development of student worksheets is melon, cucumber and aloe leaf have criteria are clear color, the aroma is not overpowering and tastes like regular oil. Trial of student worksheets implemented at SMA Bina Bangsa Surabaya by the number of students is 14 children. The student worksheets categorized decent with mean score of 3.69 with range of 1-4. Student worksheets developed to get a positive response by 90.72% and observation of students process skills in group during the making of VCO is less-excellent with a score between 40-100% with the score range 1-100%. Majority of students get difficulty in learning and identifying animals characteristics, for the example sponges. One of possible reason is the students never seen these animals by theirselvesf. Based on this problem objective of this research were to develop preserved media of sponges and describe it feasibility theoretically and empirically to support students in learning and identifying sponges. This was development research, which developed preserved media of sponge that developed by ASSURE method. The results of this research indicated that preserved media of sponges was theoretically feasible for the learning process with the percentage’s 95.55% (category: very feasible) and empirically 98.5% (category: very feasible). The objective of this research were to develop Practice Worksheets of Insects as well as describe theoretical and empirical feasibility of this worksheets. This practice worksheets was developed by using 4-D models (without disseminate stage). The results indicated that Practice Worksheets of Insects was feasible (percentage 81.25%). The trial of implementation in the school indicated the majority of students gave positive response to Practice Worksheets of Insects, namely 88%. Baesd of that problem, the direction of this research is to develop the student worksheet based on guided discovery, so can increasing student learning exhaustiveness. The definite experiment do at science thir grade of MA Matholi’ul Anwar Lamongan. The type of this research is development research based on 4-D development procedure. PENGEMBANGAN PERANGKAT PEMBELAJARAN IPA TERPADU BERBAHASA INGGRIS TIPE INTEGRATED DENGAN TEMA MENGAMATI JASAD RENIK DALAM SETETES AIR UNTUK KELAS VII SMP

Model pembelajaran terpadu merupakan salah satu model implementasi kurikulum yang dianjurkan untuk diaplikasikan pada semua jenjang pendidikan terutama pada jenjang sekolah menengah pertama. Pembelajaran terpadu yang dikembangkan ini disesuaikan dengan salah satu prinsip pengembangan Kurikulum Tingkat Satuan Pendidikan (KTSP) dan penerapannya di sekolah harus beragam dan terpadu. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, dilakukan penelitian pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran IPA terpadu bilingual pada materi mengamati jasad renik dalam setetes air kelas VII SMP. Pembelajaran terpadu model integrated merupakan keterkaitan dalam seluruh bidang, keterkaitan antar topik, antar konsep dan antar keterampilan. Topik observe microbe merupakan hasil perpaduan antara konsep mikroorganisme dan mata dalam mata pelajaran Biologi dengan konsep mikroskop pada mata pelajaran Fisika. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan perangkat pembelajaran IPA terpadu tipe integrated dengan materi pengamatan jasad renik dalam setetes air SMP kelas VII. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan. Kelayakan perangkat pembelajaran ini dinilai dari telaah perangkat oleh guru bidang studi dan dosen ahli meliputi telaah syllabus, lesson plan, student’s book, student’s worksheet, dan evaluation test serta keterbacaan buku siswa/student’s book oleh siswa menggunakan angket respon siswa. Hasil telaah perangkat pembelajaran dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif. Hasil dari penelitian yaitu 1) Perangkat pembelajaran IPA terpadu pada sub materi pengamatan jasad renik dalam setetes air kelas VII SMP tipe integrated yang dikembangkan telah tersedia dan sangat layak untuk diterapkan. 2) Nilai rata-rata aspek dan nilai rata-rata penelaah sebesar 95.7% kategori sangat layak. 3) Respon siswa terhadap keterbacaan Student’s Book dan Student’s Worksheet berturut-turut 91.10% dan 93.06% kategori sangat layak. Kriteria kelayakan ini dibuktikan dari rata-rata seluruh penelaah maupun rata-rata aspek seluruh perangkat pembelajaran menunjukkan ≥81%. Kata kunci: Perangkat pembelajaran, IPA Terpadu tipe integrated, pengamatan jasad renik.

This research aims to produce plant tissue preparation use wenter as the alternative dye in the plant tissue staining, describe absorbing each of the stem and root plant tissue component used wenter as the alternative dye. Development of the plant tissue preparation include analyze Standard competence and Basic competence in the XI grade of the Biology in SMA, making of pletekan (Ruellia sp.) and beluntas (Pluchea indica) plant tissue preparation used wenter as alternative dye with simple method, analyze plant tissue preparation to the plant anatomy lecturer, microtechnique lecturer and teacher of Biology in SMA. The research result show that each of pletekan and beluntas stem and root tissue have capability absorb wenter dye with different intensity. The plant tissue with thin cell wall, primary cell wall and life protoplasms like parenchyma, epidermis, floem and protoxylem (trakea) have high intensity to absorb the wenter dyes, the cell wall of that tisue look red colour. The tissue with secondary cell wall and lignified like schlerenchyma, metaxilem have low intensity to absorb wenter dye, the cell wall of that tissue look light yellow. Inheritance contains some highly difficult concepts because it seems complex and complicated. In addition, it needs a long time and suitable equipments to do practical work. So that it requires worksheets to overcome the problems and can help student to understand about inheritance. One of ways that can be done is developing student worksheets based on metacognitive strategy. The student worksheets are expected to encourage students to understand with their own ability. This research aims to determine the feasibility of the student worksheets, student’s metacomprehension skills, student’s learning outcomes, student’s response to the student worksheets and to obtain student’s worksheets that are feasible. This research used 4-D model. In this case, the research only applied three steps (3-D models). They are “define”, “design”, and “develop”. The research subject are student worksheets based on metacognitive strategy on inheritance. The student worksheets were tried out in class IX of Jenangan Junior High School 2 with 20 students, using “one shot case study” method. The results show that the student worksheets developed were feasible with 3,67 average of score (very good category). The average student’s metacomprehension skills were categorized very good. The student’s learning outcomes showed that 85% of students were mastery with 60% of learning objectives are mastery and the students responded positively to the student worksheets. Development of worksheet feasibility of worksheets on fungi and describe learning outcomes of students with worksheets that fungi developed on the material, and describe the students of response to the teaching and learning activities. This research is the development of worksheets using 4-D model (four D models). Model development include of 4 steps of the define, design, development and desseminate. Steps this research to the development. The research was conducted at the Madrasah Aliyah Sidoarjo in class X. The result has shown that worksheets are included in the criteria developed very decent. The results of student responses showed positive response to the developed LKS language, and physical presentation. Proses pembelajaran biologi merupakan adanya interaksi antara siswa dengan lingkungannya, misalnya pada kegiatan praktikum penentuan kualitas perairan menggunakan indikator makroinvertebrata. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan kelayakan LKS praktikum secara teoretis. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan. LKS praktikum penentuan kualitas perairan dikembangkan dengan menggunakan model 4-D (tanpa tahap disseminate). Metode pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan lembar telaah para ahli. Hasil pengembangan LKS praktikum penentuan kualitas perairan menggunakan indikator makroinvertebrata yang telah dinyatakan layak secara teoretis dengan rata-rata persentase nilai dari para validator sebesar 3,39 (baik). Kata Kunci: pengembangan LKS praktikum, kualitas perairan, indikator makroinvertebrata, SMA kelas X.

The objective of this research were to describe the validity plant tissue preparation media which is coloured using henna leaves filtrate as an alternative dye. The research procedures used is development research which includes three phases that are collective and plant determination phase, preparation media making phase, and preparation media research phase. The result of this research was plant tissue preparation media which is coloured using henna leaves as an alternatives dye it is chatagorized as valid and very valid, so can used as preparation media for observation plant tissue. Functionally, nervous system is an abstract material; therefore, for learning this material it requires worksheet completed with media. This study combined worksheet with animation and web media. The purpose of this research was to determine the feasibility of ICT-based student worksheets based on of 2 biology lecturers’ and 2 biology teachers’ review. Based on the biology lecturer’s and teacher’s review, each component of this ICT-based student worksheet of nervous system is feasible enough even very feasible. Pengembangan Student Book of Circulatory System dengan Integrasi Pendidikan Karakter untuk Siswa Kelas XI Rintisan SMA Bertaraf Internasional

The Application of character education is one of Government’s policies to prevent several moral’s problems and draw up young generations so that they are able to compete in globalization era. This policy has been started to be applied in schools, including RSMABI. However, there is so difficult to find student book that was integrated with character education, whereas it is very important to apply the character education. Based on the condition, a research to develop student book of circulatory system which was integrated with character education has been done. The objective of this research is to obtain the student book of circulatory system which was integrated with character education for grade XI of RSMABI. This research used 4D model without disseminaton step, because research time was limited. The criteria to define the student book’s feasibility are it’s material, performance, language, and accuracy of character value that were integrated. The student book has been reviewed by some reviewers that were consisted of biology lectures and high school teachers. The result of this research shows that the student book of circulatory system’s feasibility was categorized good. Keywords: development, student book, character education, circulatory system.

PENGEMBANGAN LEMBAR KEGIATAN SISWA (LKS) BERORIENTASI MODEL LEARNING CYCLE 5E PADA MATERI EKOSISTEM

Model Learning cycle 5E merupakan model pembelajaran yang melibatkan siswa secara langsung dan aktif. Model Learning cycle 5E terdiri dari tahap Engagement, Exploration, Explanation, Extend and apply, dan Evaluation. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk 1) menghasilkan LKS berorientasi model Learning cycle 5E pada materi ekosistem yang layak secara teoritis dan empiris, 2) mendeskripsikan validitas kelayakan LKS yang dikembangkan. Rancangan penelitian menggunakan pengembangan perangkat 4-D, namun hanya terbatas pada tahap Develop. Sasaran dalam penelitian ini ialah LKS berorientasi an menggunakan pendekatan kompetensi, dan berlandaskan aktivitas serta kemampuan berpikir peserta didik (student activity and thinking skill) (Mulyasa, 2007). Model pembelajaran Learning cycle 5E mengacu pada pendekatan konstruktivis dan berlandaskan aktivitas serta kemampuan berpikir peserta didik. Model Learning cycle 5E terdiri dari tahap Engagement (pembangkitan minat), Exploration (eksplorasi), Explanation (penjelasan), Extend and apply (elaborasi) dan Evaluation (evaluasi).

Preparations of plant tissue is not owned by some schools because the price is relatively expensive and to make themselves constrained chemical dyes prices are expensive. Therefore we need an alternative dye that is more affordable and can be made for making permanent preparations of plant tissue the dye from the filtrate young leaves of teak (Tectona grandis). This study aims to develop a natural vegetable dyes from the filtrate young teak leaves to stain the tissue in the process of making preparations of plant tissue. Type of research is a study development. Natural dye-making research procedures by making young teak leaf filtrate diluted with alcohol. Making preparations of plant tissue using free slices of monocotyledonous and dicotyledonous roots and stems with dyeing of the young leaves filtrate teak. The results of this research are dyeing of the filtrate young teak leaves can stain the tissue epidermis, parenchyma, phloem, xylem and sklerenkim well on plant tissue preparations were developed. Majority of students get difficulty in learning human characterictic inheritance matter. One of possible reason is student worksheet decrease make student for understanding about matter. Based on this problem objective of this research were to develop student worksheet principle metacognitive learn strategy and describe it feasibility theoretically and empirically to promoted student learn result in human characterictic inheritance matter. This was development research, which develop student worksheet principle metacognitive learn strategy that developed by 3-D model. The results of this research indicated that student worksheet principle metacognitive learn strategy was theoretically feasible for the learning process with the percentage’s 91% (category: very feasible) and empirically based on learn result indicator complete 99,31%. Pengembangan Media Permainan Biology Racing Game Materi Sistem Pencernaan pada Manusia

The research background is based on the boredom of the students, the less active students, and students’ difficulties in understanding the matter and the less effective teaching methods to enhance student activity. The use of Biology Racing Game media in the matter of human digestive system hopefully can solve the problems. The purpose of this research is to produce Biology Racing Game media in the matter of human digestive system. This research is a development research using 4D models. However it was done until the development stage. The media was reviewed by a media lecturer, a human anatomy and physiology lecturer and a biology teacher due to the media formats, the appearance of media and validity of concepts. The results show that the media is feasible. Based on the result of the research, Biology Racing Game media of human digestive system is suitable for being used as an understanding concept reinforcement. PENGEMBANGAN SUPER VOUCHER MOTIVATION PADA MATERI VIRUS UNTUK MENINGKATKAN MOTIVASI DAN PRESTASI SISWA KELAS X

Young scientist (young researchers) have a sense of curiosity (curiousity) high. The reality on the ground there are still many children that high curiosity was not supported by a condition that can give them the opportunity to be more developed. Though they are in need of understanding the concepts related to everyday life. As a result, the motivation to study hard to be grown and learned patterns they tend to memorize and mechanistic. This study aims to develop learning aids super voucher motivation, describes eligibility super voucher, analyzes super voucher, student activities and student learning outcomes of the super voucher motivation on viral material. This research is a development that aims to discover and develop a new method or the existing ones in order to improve and development so as to obtain better results, effective than before. Development research trial was conducted on 19-20 September 2012. Objectives of this research is the development of the feasibility study aids such as super card vouchers motivation will be tested in class X SMAN 4 Sidoarjo, amounting to 33 students. The research instrument used in data collection are pieces of the validation, observations of student activity sheets. The analysis used is quantitative descriptive analysis. The results of the analysis of the data obtained, the average percentage of the feasibility of super voucher of 84.3%, an average gain more green cards in the amount of 60.56% of the total student acquisition orange card in the amount of 15.15%, which means less while for the purple card for 45.45% of the total students. Analysis of student learning outcomes indicated by the classical mastery learning is as much as 84.4%. Student activity data in the study group after acquired averaged as much as 87.4%. So it can be concluded that the learning aids in the form of super voucher motivation feasible for use in learning virusdan create a pleasant atmosphere for learning. The objective of this research is to determine the completeness of students learning outcomes. This research uses One-Shot Case Study Method. The one shot case study method is pre-experimental research, because it doesn’t use control class. In this research showed that 83,33% of students complete the learning outcomes. Performance of students categorized as very good. The ability of teacher to manage learning, increases in every meeting. The dominant activity of the students at the first meeting is create groups based on instructions from the teacher, with the percentage of 14,33%. The second meeting is doing experiment according to the design and procedure, with percentage of 12%. Student’s response to the use of Inquiry Student’s Worksheet categorized as very good. PENGEMBANGAN LEMBAR KEGIATAN SISWA (LKS) INKUIRI BERBASIS BERPIKIR KRITIS PADA MATERI DAUR BIOGEOKIMIA KELAS X

Kurikulum Tingkat Satuan Pendidikan menyebutkan bahwa standar lulusan untuk SMA-MA diharapkan dapat memiliki beberapa keterampilan yakni meliputi keterampilan mengamati, mengajukan hipotesis, menggunakan alat dan bahan secara baik dan benar dengan selalu mempertimbangkan keamanan dan keselamatan kerja, mengajukan pertanyaan, menggolongkan dan menafsirkan data, untuk menguji gagasan-gagasan atau memecahkan masalah sehari-hari. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk 1) Menghasilkan LKS inkuiri berbasis berpikir kritis pada materi daur biogeokimia kelas X SMA yang layak digunakan. 2) Mendeskripsikan validitas kelayakan teoritis. Rancangan penelitian ini menggunakan pengembangan perangkat 4-D (define, design, develop, disseminate), tetapi hanya terbatas pada tahap develop. Parameter kelayakan LKS ditinjau dari hasil validasi. Kelayakan LKS ditunjukkan apabila nilai kelayakan LKS ≥ 71%. Sasaran dalam penelitian ini adalah LKS inkuiri berbasis berpikir kritis pada materi daur biogeokimia yang diujicobakan pada siswa SMA Negeri 1 Bangsal sebanyak 20 anak. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh 1) LKS yang dihasilkan layak digunakan. 2) hasil kelayakan validasi LKS 1 sebesar 93,75% dengan kategori sangat layak dan hasil kelayakan validasi LKS 2 sebesar 94% dengan kategori sangat layak Kata kunci : Pengembangan LKS, inkuiri, berpikir kritis, daur biogeokimia

PENGEMBANGAN TES FORMATIF BERBASIS WEBSITE SEBAGAI EVALUASI HASIL BELAJAR PADA MATERI JAMUR KELAS X SMA

Keberhasilan suatu proses belajar mengajar di kelas ditandai dengan penguasaan siswa terhadap kompetensi dasar yang ingin dicapai yang dapat diukur melalui tes formatif diakhir pembelajaran. Tes yang baik adalah tes yang dapat mengukur indikator atau kompetensi dasar yang ingin dicapai. Tes formatif yang tepat dan akurat dibutuhkan tes yang memenuhi persyaratan.sebagai evaluator, guru harus dapat membuat soal-soal valid dan reliable. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan tes formatif berbasis website pada materi jamur dan mengetahui kelayakan tes formatif berbasis website dalam mengatasi kecurangan siswa. Tes formatif berbasis website pada materi jamur ini dikembangkan melalui penyusunan soal A dan penyusunan soal B, diujicobakan pada siswa kelas X-3 SMAN 4 Sidoarjo dengan jumlah siswa 15 orang. Soal A dan B kemudian disusun menjadi soal C sebagai produk pengembangan. Metode pengumpulan data dalam penelitin ini adalah telaah untuk mengetahui kelayakan tes formatif berbasis website, metode tes untuk mengetahui analisis butir soal dengan aplikasi proprofs, dan metode angket untuk mengetahui respon siswa. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa, tes formatif berbasis website pada materi jamur yang dikembangkan, termasuk katagori sangat baik dengan skor 3,71 untuk seluruh aspek meliputi materi, konstruksi, dan bahasa. Hasil analisis butir dengan aplikasi proprosf menyatakan bahwa facility index butir soal didominasi oleh soal A yang mudah yaitu 70% (21 soal), 30% soal sedang (9 soal) sedangkan soal B yang mudah yaitu 80% (24 soal) dan 20% soal sedang (6 soal) yang kemudian menghasilkan soal C yang memiliki sensitivitas dan facility index acak dari yang terendah hingga yang tertinggi untuk memperoleh hasil seperti pada kurva normal dan 100% butir soal dinyatakan sensitif. Respon siswa terhadap tes formatif berbasis website positif. Seluruh siswa menyatakan tes formatif berbasis website memotivasi siswa untuk lebih giat belajar. An educative game is expected can be used to make students understand more about the concept of sea invertebrate animals. This research aimed to describe the feasibility at some sets of questions to be used as educative game. These sets of questions were validated based on three big components, namely: concept of the topic, the question construction, and language of the question. The questions were validated by biology lecturers and teachers. The validation value of questions was 91.53%. This result showed that all questions were very good and feasible. Key words: educative game, invertebrates, feasibility of the questions.

Blog learning media on the material of enviromental pollution is expected to be used for increasing student learning motivation. The delight of student in accesing information from the internet along with the rapid technological developments can be used to create an internet-based media, one of them is blog, to attract the student’s interest in learning. Interisting display blogs that can be filled with pictures and videos to better motivate students to learn. This research includes the development of research in order to produce a viable media blog theoretically and empirically. Results showed media blog is theoretically feasible with percentages of 91.9% (categories: very feasible) and empirically with percentage 92.7% (categories: very feasible).Keywords: blog, learning media, enviromental pollution

Abstract – This research aims to produce the learningmedia of interactive multimedia in the topic of mutationwhich is feasible theoretically. The theoretical feasibility ofinteractive multimedia consists of the feasibility of topic andmedia. The feasibility of topic consists of the suitability ofthe media content with the topic of mutation and thesuitability of the media content with learning objectives.Meanwhile, the feasibility of media consists of the format ofmedia, quality of media, and the suitability of media withthe concept. This development research used ASSUREmodel which consists of six phases. The feasibility of topicgot percentage about 89.90% and very feasible, the mediafeasibility got percentage about 84.08% and very feasible.These results show that the learning media of interactivemultimedia in the topic of mutation is feasible theoretically.Keywords: Interactive multimedia on mutation, Theoreticalfeasibility

Abstract-This research is to develop learning device with inquiri approach in major the transport mechanism of membrane, describing the feasibility of learning device, the result of learning, and responses of the student in major of biology. This research is kind of the develop research use the development of Kemp’s model, to get inquiry learning which the oretically and empirically. The methods of this research is using a review of inquiry approach in learning. The result of this reseach want to get a validation of learning device with using inquiry appoarch in major the transport mechanism of membrane include syllabus, lesson plan, student book, student worksheet and test result of learning which to fasible for use, with the average of score eligibility is 75,34 %. PENGEMBANGAN BUKU AJAR ELEKTRONIK PADA MATERI STRUKTUR DAN FUNGSI JARINGAN TUMBUHAN UNTUK KELAS XI SMA

The purpose of this study are to develop electronic textbooks (e-books), describing the expediency study based on theoretical and empirical content, language and presentation, and to know the students' response to electronic textbooks (e-book). The research has been tested development is limited to 15 high school students Giki 2 Surabaya. Stages of the research is to formulate learning objectives, analyzing and learning activities, developing instructional materials, evaluation and study by 3 lecturers of biology UNESA and 2 high school biology teacher Giki 2 Surabaya, revised, tested, and revised again. The research instrument used for the study sheet lecturer and teacher and student questionnaire sheet. The results stated that the e-book on the material structure and function of plant tissue fit for use as a medium of learning according to the review of expediency criteria that combine several criteria of BSNP and the advantange of e-books. The overall results of the expediency study of the e-book shows the average value of the media presentation format, the format of the expediency of the content, and the format of language components between lecturers and teachers is 92,4%. PENGEMBANGAN LEMBAR KEGIATAN SISWA (LKS) BERBASIS KONSTRUKTIVIS UNTUK MELATIHKAN KETRAMPILAN PROSES SAINS

Appropriate with constructivist principles, a child learn if they actively construct knowledge in their brain. One way to implement in the classroom is a way to package learning materials in the form of worksheets. The purpose of the research is to develop a constructivist-based worksheets to practice science process skills that feasiable theoretically and empirically. Types of research, namely the development of a customized worksheets with 4-D development procedures. The research instrument used in the form of sheet validation worksheets and student activity sheets. Data were analyzed by descriptive quantitative. The results showed that, LKS has developed theoretically feasible and get a percentage of 97.47% with a very decent criteria. Percentage of students meeting Activity 1 and 2 get a percentage of 82.4% and 87.5%. Keywords: constructivist-based worksheets, science process skills

The aims of this research are improvement of an interactive e-Book biotechnology. This research use Research and Development (R & D) method and tested to fifteen 3rd grade students of Madrasah Aliyah Bahauddin. Profile e-book interactive biotechnology assessed of competent lecturers.The results showed that the profile of an interactive e-Book that assessed the feasibility of some aspects of included material, presentation, and language respectively by 100%.

DEVELOPING WORKSHEET BASED DISCOVERY LEARNING ON THE STRUCTURE AND FUNCTION OF ORGAN TISSUES OF PLANT IN THE SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL ON THE 11TH

Structure and function of organ tissues of plant sub subject that can not be explained by lectures and reading books. So, be needed the worksheet that can to help students in order to active role in learning. One of the ways is developing worksheet based discovery learning. The developing aims to know the advisability of the worksheet in empiris and teoritis, to know the legibility of the worksheet, to describe result of student learning after used worksheet, to know students activity during used worksheet, and to describe student response which had developed. This study is development research. Target of research is the worksheet based discovery learning in structure and function of organ tissues of plant sub subject that is tested to sixteen students in senior high school 1 Dander. Based on the result of research, obtained some following result: 1) The advisability of the worksheet is very good and advisable to used, 2) The result of student learning is 87,5% complete in cognitive competence and 74,30% complete in aim learning, 3) The legibility of the worksheet is very advisable, and 4) students give positive responses to worksheet is developed.

APPLICATION OF PROBLEM BASED INSTRUCTION (PBI) LEARNING MODEL WITH THE THEME WATER POLLUTION FOR SEVENTH CLASS STUDENT

The objective of this research is: 1) Describe the feasibility learning in the application of PBI learning model with the theme water pollution for seventh class students of 9 Junior high school Surabaya. 2) Describe student learning outcomes in the affective and cognitive domain to application of PBI learning model with the theme water pollution, 3) Describe students responses to application of PBI learning model with the theme water pollution.
This research is quasi-research type with one shot case study method. The research applicated in 9 junior high school Surabaya, research objective is VII-G class with 38 students. The data was analyzed descriptively, and show that: 1) the feasibility learning in the application of PBI learning model with the theme water pollution for seventh class students of 9 Junior high school Surabaya performing well, 2) the completeness of student learning outcomes based on minimal criteria for completeness with pencentage of 90% and the completeness of objective learning with percentage of 95%. The student learning outcomes in affective domain categorized as good and very good, 3) 85% of students gives positive responses to application of PBI learning model.

PENGEMBANGAN PERANGKAT PEMBELAJARAN IPATERPADU TIPE CONNECTED PADA MATERI PERTUMBUHAN DAN PERKEMBANGAN DI KELAS VIII SMP
ANGGARA, YOGI
Kurikulum Tingkat Satuan Pendidikan merupakan suatu inovasi pendidikan yang mengarah pada peningkatan efisiensi, efektifitas layanan dan pengembangan pendidikan. Salah satu bentuk inovasi yang mengarah pada efisiensi dan efektifitas yaitu pengembangan model implementasi kurikulum, yaitu pembelajaran terpadu. Pembelajaran terpadu merupakan salah satu model implementasi kurikulum KTSP yang dianjurkan untuk diaplikasikan pada semua jenjang pendidikan. Pembelajaran ini pada hakikatnya merupakan suatu pendekatan pembelajaran yang memungkinkan peserta didik baik secara individual maupun kelompok aktif mencari, menggali, dan menemukan konsep serta prinsip secara holistik, bermakna, dan otentik. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, dilakukan penelitian pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran IPA terpadu pada materi pertumbuhan dan perkembangan kelas VIII SMP. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan perangkat pembelajaran IPA terpadu, mendeskripsikan kelayakan perangkat pembelajaran ditinjau dari aspek isi, bahasa dan konstruksi serta mendeskripsikan respon siswa terhadap keterbacaan buku siswa oleh siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan, yaitu mengembangkan perangkat pembelajaran IPA Terpadu dengan model keterpaduan connected pada materi pertumbuhan dan perkembangan. Kelayakan perangkat pembelajaran ini dinilai dari telaah perangkat oleh guru bidang studi dan dosen ahli meliputi telaah buku siswa, LKS, dan tes evaluasi serta respon siswa terhadap buku siswa. Hasil telaah perangkat pembelajaran dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif. Adapun hasil penelitian ini adalah menghasilkan perangkat pembelajaran IPA terpadu, menghasilkan perangkat pembelajaran IPA terpadu (Buku siswa, LKS, dan lembar penilaian) ditinjau dari aspek isi, bahasa dan konstruksi yang ditelaah oleh dosen dan guru yang dinyatakan bahwa pengembangan perangkat telah layak digunakan dalam kegiatan pembelajaran di kelas dan hasil respon siswa terhadap buku siswa oleh siswa menyatakan bahwa buku siswa layak untuk diterapkan.

THE THEORITICAL FEASIBILITY OF INTERACTIVE HANDBOOK ON THE MUSCULAR TISSUE SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL CLASS XI

One of learning components which is developed to support improvement of student’s quality is a handbook. A handbook as a means of communication should be developed better so that there is an interaction between students and the book. This research aims were to produce an interactive handbook on the sub material of human muscular tissue and to describe the theoretical feasibility of interactive handbook based on expert’s evaluation. This research was conducted using Kemp model. The result showed that the developed interactive handbook was very worthy with validation value about 91.61%.

LKS is used in SMP PGRI 29 Surabaya on material digestive system has never been done using practical activities and worksheets that CTL oriented.This research aims to: Analyze the results of feasibility worksheets developed CTL, to describe the students' response to LKS CTL developed. The design of this research is using the device according Kemp.The worksheet is evaluated from the results of the feasibility study, feasibility worksheets and student response. Based on the research, the result is obtained by: The results of the feasibility study worksheets at 87,33% with very decent category, Response 95.55% of students with criteria very well.

DEVELOPMENT OF THE INQUIRY-BASED WORKSHEET IN PLANT NUTRITION CONCEPTS OF VIII-TH GRADE IN JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL

There were no inquiry-based student worksheet of plant nutrition concept in VIIIth grade in Junior High School PGRI 29 Surabaya. Therefore, the aim of this research was 1) to develope the inquiry-based student worksheet, 2) to describe the validity of student-worksheet, 3) to describe the empirical validity based on student responses. The research design during the development used was 4-D model without the dessiminate phase. Based on the data showed that the developed student workesheet were 1) valid to be used by the score of 89% in the very valid category, 2) student responses in the score of 89,53% (very good category).

PROFILE OF ANIMATION INTERACTIVE MEDIA ON BIOGEOCHEMICAL CYCLE MATTER FOR SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL

Animation interactive media can explain an abstract concept to more real. This research aimed to produce biogeochemical cycle animation interactive media which is fesiable theoretically. Feasibility theoretically got from a results of media validity by biology lecturers and teachers. The validation media aspects are graph quality, animation quality, program quality, physical quality, present quality, matter quality, and illustration quality. This development research used ASSURE model which consist of six phases. The validation media result percentage was 85,26% and got very feasible category that implementation feasible in the learning.

THE THEORETICAL FEASIBILITY OF SLIDE INTERACTIVE MEDIA BASED POWER POINT OF HEREDITY IN CLASS XII SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL

Hereditary is material that is difficult to understand. The material can not be observed with ordinary light microscope, so we need learning media that can provide an illustration of the relevant material to facilitate understanding learners. Many teachers using power point slide that just display pictures / photos and writings in learning, so the motivation of learners to learn the material of heredity is low. The purpose of this study is describing the theoritical feasibility of slide interactive media based power point of heredity in class xii senior high school which is gotten from research result of expert faculty of media, matter expert lecturers and teachers of Biology. This study refers to the ASSURE models. Results showed that slide interactive media based power point developed worthy use in learning by faculty experts and biology teacher with an average score of 3.48 overall worth is included in the category.

DEVELOPMENT OF THE ACTIVE LEARNING-ORIENTED STUDENT WORKSHEETS IN PLANT NUTRITION CONSEPTS

The objectives of this research are to 1) provide student worksheets with active learning-oriented that are feasible, 2) describe the feasibility of student worksheets the theoretically based on experts and practitioner of biology review results, 3) describe the empirical feasibility of the student responses to the worksheets on the subject of obtaining plant nutrition system. This type of research is student worksheets development with active learning-oriented. The development used FourD model (4D). Student worksheet's feasibility data were obtained from result of review of the worksheets by experts and practitioner of biology, and student responses to student worksheets. Data obtained were analized quantitatively and descriptively. The results show that 1) student worksheets has been the resulting feasible active learning -oriented is used, 2) student worksheets got a value of 3,48 with excellent category. It can be said that they are feasible theoretically based on experts and practitioner of biology review, 3) the result of the student responses to the worksheets got a positive value of 94%.

THE DEVELOPMENT OF CHARACTER-BASED STUDENTS WORKSHEET FOR SUBDISCUSSION OF PHYLUM MOLLUSCA AT TENTH GRADE OF HIGH SCHOOL

This research aimed to develop character-based students’ worksheet for subdiscussion of Phylum Mollusca which is feasible theoretically and empirically. This research was developmental research which develop character-based students’ worksheet by 4-D method (without disseminate phase). The result showed that the characters-based students’ worksheet that have been developed was feasible, both theoretically and empirically. The worksheet got good result, because the validation result showed that 93,75%. The worksheet was also good empirically students’ response was 97%.

THEORITICAL FEASIBILITYOF GUIDED DISCOVERY WORKSHEET IN KINGDOM ANIMALIA SUB MATTER FOR SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL CLASS X

Learning process especially for Science class should be designed to be interactive and inspiring so that the students will be motivated to participate actively. In material about animals kingdom for X class, there is one of basic competences stated that the students are able to describe phylum in animal kingdom and its role in daily life. Thus, this study focuses on Echinodermata phylum. Based on preliminary study, 51.7% of the students of SMAN 1 Lamongan had difficulties in learning one of materials about phylum of animal kingdom, the medium that was used by the teacher was not good enough. Therefore, the students’ working sheets entitled “Guided Discovery” was needed to develop as well as the model of Echinodermata to support Biology learning process for X class. The aim of this study was to create students’ working sheets entitled “Guided Discovery” and describe its suitability theoretically.
This reseach was developmental study, which was from the students’ working sheets entitled “Guided Discovery”. The development of medium was based on 4-D method (disseminate steps). It took time from November 2012 until February 2013. Method of data collection using validation sheet.
The result of this study showed that the students working sheets entitled “Guided Discovery” was not only worth using theoretically with 94% which includes the identity of 91%, display 97%, English 94%, content 94%, and 94% characteristic of guided discovery. In summary, the students’ working sheets entitled “Guided Discovery” can be used for learning purposes.

THE DEVELOPMENT OF STUDENT WORKSHEETS BASED ON GUIDED DISCOVERY ON THE MUTATION SUB TOPIC

Mutation sub Topic is one of an abstract learning material. Learning object in this sub topic cannot be observed using light microscope, thus it needs learning media that able to illustrated the material itself. So, this material would be simply understand by students. The objectives of this research is to produce and to described the theoritical feasibility of student worksheet. This research conducted based on Four-D (4-D) development methods. The result of this research indicates that developed student worksheets based on guided discovery on the mutation material as learning media could be declared feasible with worksheets validation and material validation score namely 86% and 90%

SUITABILITY OF INSTRUCTIONAL OBJECTIVES WITH A PAPER AND PENCIL TEST THAT DEVELOP BY CERTIFIED BIOLOGY TEACHER IN THE BOJONEGORO DISTRICT

This study aims to describe the suitability of the instructional objectives with paper and pencil test, developed by certified biologist teachers in the Bojonogoro district. The method used in this research is survey. Population and sample are 26 certified biology teacher. Documentation data retrieval techniques. The data obtained and analyzed descriptively. The results showed that 43.06% items according to the taxonomic level learning objectives are developed, 39.35% items are not in accordance with the taxonomy of learning objectives and the level of 17.59% of the items were not developed learning goals. DEVELOPING OF INQUIRY DEVICE LEARNING MATERIAL PLANT ORGANS FOR 11th

Learning device in the plant organs materials on SMA GIKI 2 Surabaya not be an inquiry activities. so that, conducted research with the aim of producing learning device of inquiry feasible in materials of plant organs. This research is a development research, which adapted the 4-D model, the stage is limited to the develop stage. Subjects were the inquiry learning. Parameters of the feasibility study in terms of the results of the study include: syllabus gets a value of 89.58%, RPP gets a value of 91.67%, and LKS got a value of 94.45% and respectively categorized as very feasible.

SUITABILITY OF BIOLOGY TEACHER’S LEARNING OBJECTIVE AND AUTHENTIC ASSESSMENT

This research aimed to describe suitability between learning objective and authentic assessment that made by certified biology teacher in Sidoarjo. This research is descriptive research with qualitative approach. Sample of this research is 27 certified biology teacher of 46 total population certified biology teacher in Sidoarjo. Techniques of collecting data done by documentation and gave self-assessment questionnaires teacher. Authentic assessment profile analysis result are known for 98,02% of teachers using authentic assessment. 98,02% of teacher who used authentic assessment, at 63,82% of teacher prepared learning objectives appropriate to the task and rubric.

PROFILE OF LEARNING MEDIA OF INTERACTIVE MULTIMEDIA ON MEMBRANE TRANSPORT CELL TOPIC FOR XI GRADE OF SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL

This research aimed to describe the theoretical feasibility of learning media of interactive multimedia on membrane transport cell topic based on the validation value of media. These media were validated based on three component, namely: topic, language, and presentation. The media were validated by biology lecturers and teachers. The validation value of media was 92,1%. This result showed that interactive multimedia were very feasible.

FEASIBILITY OF STUDENT’S WORKSHEET ORIENTED GUIDED DISCOVERY ON PTERIDOPHYTA AT TENTH GRADE OF HIGH SCHOOL

The purpose of this study is to produce of students worksheet oriented guided discovery on Pteridophyta which is feasible theoritically and empirically by validation and student’s responses. This research was developmental research which developed guided discovery student’s worksheet by 4-D method (without disseminate phase). The result showed that the guided discovery student’s worksheet have been developed was feasible, both theoritically and empirically. The worksheet got good result, because the validation result showed that 95,50%. The worksheet was also good empirically student’s response was 86,50%

MIND MAPPING PLUS DEVELOPMENT AS LEARNING STRATEGY ON NERVOUS SYSTEM SUBJECT AT SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL

Giving questionnaires to high school students showed that they have difficulties in understanding the biology subject. Therefore, students need to be taught a kind of learning strategy that can make them understand the biology materials easily. One alternative is using a Mind Mapping Plus. This research aims to describe the feasibility of The Mind Mapping Plus and the students’ response. The Mind Mapping Plus was developed using Fenrich model. The feasibility data were obtained from experts and practitioner reviews. Students’ responses were obtained from questionnaire. The results showed that Mind Mapping Plus is feasible and categorized good. Students respond to the use of Mind Mapping Plus positively.

THEORETICAL FEASIBILITY OF LEARNING MEDIA BASED ON ICT WITH CTL ON THE SUBJECT OF HUMAN RESPIRATORY SYSTEM

Based on the results of questionnaire spread, students have difficulty in understanding the biology concept because they feel that biology lesson needs too much memorizing, so that it is easy to be forgotten. As a consequence, it requires an approach that links the material to students real-world. One of the approach is CTL. Its implication can be facilitated by ICT-based learning media. One of the biology material being suitable to be taught using CTL is human respiratory system, because this material intimately associates with the daily life of students. This study aims to produce ICT media used to support learning with CTL, describe the theoretical feasibility of the media based on the result of experts and teacher reviews. The media was developed using the 4-D model. The theoretical feasibility was obtained from the review result of the media by experts and teacher. This research results an ICT media used to support learning with CTL. Based on review of the media, average scores of 3.87 to 4 are gained. It is categorized theoretically very feasible. The learning media based on ICT to support learning with CTL are feasible theoretically to be used in the learning process on the subject of human respiratory system.

WEB BASED LEARNING MEDIA BY UTILITATING LMS MOODLE ON GENETICS SUBSTANCE MATTER

Genetics substance sub topic is abstract, so an appropriate media needed to motivate and help students to understand it. The aim of this study is to produce a web-based learning media by utilizing the LMS Moodle on Genetics substance sub topic and describe media feasibility theoretically based on media experts, Genetics experts, and Biology’s teacher validation. Empirically based on media legibility. The results showed that the web-based learning media on Genetics substance sub topic were feasible for use in learning process with a very decent categories based on media format aspect (93.65%); suitability of the material (100%), and legibility (95.7%).

One of learning strategies which can be done by teacher to surmount imbalance of right and left brain activity is using of learning strategy of student question. This research was conducted to describe effectiveness of “student question” learning strategy to the student’s learning outcome. This research was conducted in three steps: preparing, implemantation, and analysis step. The research result showed that percentage of student which get value of learning outcome with predicate mastery about 80% and not mastery about 20%.

Circulating of the teaching material of ecosystem has not met the seven pillars of contextual teaching and learning (CTL), whereas the material is a material related to daily life. The porpouse of this research is to produce biology tecahing material based on CTL on ecosystem and to describe the theoritical reasonably of biology teaching material based on CTL. This research is development research reference to the development of 4D models with the steps are Define, Design, and Develop without Desseminate step. The target of this teaching material of ecosystem based CTL. This research showed that the teaching material developed was declared very decent with the review by 91,69%.

DEVELOPMENT OF ALTERNATIVE LEARNING RESOURCES FORM OF INTERACTIVE SLIDE WITH APPROACH OF LEARNING STYLES ON DIVERSITY OF LIVING MATTER

The objective this research are produces interactive slide with a viable approach to learning styles is used as an alternative learning resources, to describe the feasibility of interactive slide learning styles approach as an alternative learning resources, to describe the response of students to the interactive slides with style approach to learning, and to describe students behavior during trial of interactive slides with learning style approach. This type of research is performed with six development stages, among others, 1) analysis of student characteristics, 2) formulate learning objectives, 3) determine the types of learning resources and materials used, 4) organize an interactive slide diversity of living things, 5) study of the members, and 6) the trial limited. Alternative Learning Resources Form of Interactive Slide with Approach of Learning Styles on Diversity of Living Matter declared fit for use as an alternative learning resource by the percentage feasibility criteria in terms of content and format of learning resources as large as 92.08%, and get a very good response from students, as an alternative learning resource with big percentage of revenue 97.5%.

The objective of this research were to develop teaching learning materials, to describe the feasibility of teaching learning materials, and to describe the response of students about teaching learning materials oriented active learning action learning strategy on ecosystem. This research was a development research of teaching learning materials using four-D models. The development of teaching learning materials result tested finitely to 15 students in MTS Al Fatich Surabaya. Parameter that measured are the feasibility of teaching learning materials, and student’s response. Data analized in quantitative descriptive. Based on the results of the validation, teaching learning materials includes student worksheets and book are feasible and get percentage in series 85,09% and 85,97% with very proper criteria and get positive response from students that showed with percentage of students response to students book and student’s worksheet in series 90,3% and 86,7%.

Human respiratory system is material that related with process that happen in human. That material need higher comprehension that can be get from discussion and work together among students; therefore it is necessary to improve student activity to work together through particular strategy and student worksheet. One of active learning strategies that can improve student ability to work together is active knowledge sharing.The purpose of this research is to describe the theoretical feasibility of student worksheet which is oriented to active knowledge sharing on the human respiratory system material based on expert analysis. The research is refers to Four-D model that consists of four steps: define, design, develop, and disseminate. The result of this research showed that the theoretical feasibility of student worksheet based on expert analysis is 83, 68%.

Most teachers often use teaching method that doesn’t cause enough activity of the student. The students are not motivated and not understanding the abstract materials such as membrane transport. The purpose of this research is to produce a “make a match” student worksheet of the membrane transport material, which is feasibility to the applied in teaching learning process of the high school students. This worksheet was developed using 4-D models from Thiagarajan. The results showed that this student worksheet is included in good to excellent category.

THE APPLICATION OF PROBLEM POSING LEARNING THEME INTEGRATED BOTANY IN STATE SENIOR-HIGH-SCHOOL GRADE XI

Problem posing learning model was a learning model that assign students to made questions about the material being taught which must then be solved by students either individually or in groups. Reformulate the problem or application problem is one way to make progress in solving the problem. Learn to ask very important in the educational process. Students can not have learned before asked himself, and then answer the question. It is a reflection of the problem posing learning model. Students will got direct experience by doing activities related to the integrated botanical material. This learning model aims to achieve competency in accordance with theme integrated botany in the structure and function of plant tissue is taught.
This type of research was a pre-experimental research The method used was the “One Group Pre-test – Post-test” with subjects 26 students class XI Science 1 SMAN 1 Gresik Manyar.
The analysis was conducted in descriptive quantitative. Cognitive learning outcomes students, 88.47% of students have completed the classical. Based on the obtained results it can be concluded that the problem posing effective learning model applied to an integrated botanical material.

ACCOMPLISHMENT OF INQUIRY SKILLS IN INQUIRY BASED WORKSHEET ON ECOSYSTEM MATTER FOR SENIOR HIGH SCOOL STUDENT CLASS X

Ecosystem matter worksheet on schools, one of them is SMAN 1 Sumberrejo, Bojonegoro, have not applied inquiry activity, only contain summary and questions that only encompass explaining skills. From that, this research have purpose to detect accomplishment of inquirybased worksheet on ecosystem matter for teach skill student in critical brain. Accomplishment inquiry skill measured from obcervation 18 studens class X of SMAN 1 Sumberrejo, Bojonegoro when their aolication of LKS, and then score must analyed as discriptif. Accomplishment result of inquiry skill as 92,5%.

THE THEORETICAL FEASIBILITY OF SELF UNDERSTANDING EVALUATION SHEET IN GENETIC MATERIAL

Genetics and Protein Synthesis substance is the subject matter in the subjects of biology at the high school level who have the abstract characteristics that require creativity teacher. One effort to facilitate understanding of the material through the use of Understanding Self Evaluation Sheet (SUES) based on metacognitive. The research objective to produce SUES and describe its theoretical feasibility based on the expert. This research uses development model of Borg and Gall which consists of two step, step of a preliminary study and development. The results showed that the developed SUES get the review was 98.00%, which means SUES expressed very feasible in theory.

DEVELOPMENT OF E-BOOK SUBJECT ON FLOW ENERGY AND CYCLE BIOGEOCHEMICAL AT HIGH SCHOOL

Learning on the subjects of biology, especially in the matter of energy flow and biogeochemical cycles need for instructional media to assist students who have difficulty in understanding the biology material. Therefore, the media needs to be developed so that students learn the material easy to understand energy flow and biogeochemical cycles. One alternative is the use of electronic book. This research aimed to describe the feasibility study of media electronic book describes the results of studies and students to use media legibility of electronic books. Development of the electronic book with reference to Assure models. Media development stages include Analyze learne, State Objective, Select Methods, Media and Materials, Utilize Media and Materials, Require Learner Participation, Evaluate and revise. Results of legibility student eligibility values obtained for 94.6%. Students responded positively to the use of electronic book subject Energy Flow and Recycling Biogeochemistry.

STUDENT LEARNING ACTIVITIES IN SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL WHEN USING WORKSHEET BASED ON WEB MATTER KINGDOM ANIMALIA

Abstract-Competency standards to be achieved in studying the kingdom Animalia is students must understand the benefits of biodiversity, and basic competencies is students are able to describe the characteristics of members of the animal world and the role to life. Achievement of these competencies requires observing skills or observe, identify morphological features, and classify animals based on common characteristics, instead of memorizing the the scientific names. So it developed a worksheets based on Web matter kingdom Animalia. This study aimed to describe the student activity when using worksheets Based on Web Matter Kingdom Animalia. Student activity observed with instruments observation of students during learning activities follow the existing procedures in the worksheet. Results of this study indicate students can follow the procedure on worksheets that includes observation, identifying and classifying, and found the concept.

Abstract. This research was intended to produce integrated science students’ worksheet inquiry based which was theoretically appropriate. This type of research is the development based on Kemp’s model development. In this research, the data collection method used was the students’ worksheet validation of inquiry to determine the feasibility of the theory, questionnaire to determine students' responses toward the students’ worksheets had been developed, the observation of the students’ activity during teaching and learning by using worksheets, and a test that was used to measure the indicators. The results of this research were integrated science students’ worksheet inquiry based by the theme "The influence of addictive substances on the human excretory system" class IX of junior high school. These worksheets were theoretically feasible stated with the eligibility of the score 80,56%.

FEASIBILITY OF STUDENT WORKSHEET GUIDED DISCOVERY BASED ON THE TOPIC OF ENVIRONMENTAL POLLUTION

One of student center learning medium is student worksheet which can help students to find and understand the concepts of the topic learning. Therefore, the researchers developed a guided discovery student worksheets based on the topic of Environmental Pollution for X grade students of SMA. This research conducted to produce a guided discovery student worksheets based on the topic of Environmental Pollution which is feasible theoretically and to describe the theoretical feasibility of guided discovery student worksheets based on the topic of Environmental Pollution. This research was done using the development of four-D model. The results showed that the resulted student worksheet guided discovery based in materials Environmental Pollution is feasible on theoretical and empirical and the student worksheet guided discovery based was feasible theoretically based on the value of student worksheet validation which was 3,67 stated as very suitable.

THE THEORETICAL FEASIBILITY OF PREZI SLIDE MEDIA IN HUMAN BLOOD CIRCULATION SYSTEM

Human circulatory system is abstract material and beyond the day-to-day experience of students. One effort to overcome this problem is to create a Prezi slide media. This research was conducted to produce slide media based on Prezi application program on human circulatory system and describe the theoretical feasibility based on the experts. This research consisted of five development step, identification, enrichment, preparation, frame setting, validation, and revision. The instrument to assess theoretical feasibility was a validation sheet of slide media based on Prezi application program. The research result showed that Prezi slide media got value about 92,50%, It meant that Prezi slide media developed was worthy theoretically.

The purpose of this research is to describe theoretically appropriate and empirical validity of the students' response to the evolution module. Evolution module tested on a limited basis to high school students of class XI Kemala Bhayangkari 1 Surabaya as many as 20 children.The instrument that is being used is validation sheet. This research use 4-D models. Results showed that the developed evolution module of critical thinking is appropriate to be used.

PENGARUH PROBLEM BASED INSTRUCTION (PBI) TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN SISWA DALAM MENYELESAIKAN MASALAH PENCEMARAN LINGKUNGAN

This research purposed to determine effect of the application of Problem Based Instruction (PBI) model toward ability student’s in solving of environmental pollution problems.This research was a Pre Experimental Design using the One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Data of the student’s ability to solve problems collected using pretest and posttest methods of assessment with average reliability was 0.78. Test data were analyzed using the technique of Spearman rank correlation (α=5%) followed by calculating the determination coefficient. The results of research showed that there are 98,01% influence which was positive and significant between application of models PBI against ability of students in solving environmental pollution problems, with value of RS=0,99 (very high) and ZH (12.69) > Z table (0.96).

PENERAPAN LKS BERORIENTASI LIFE SKILL TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR SISWA KELAS XI SMA PADA MATERI SISTEM PEREDARAN DARAH

A research application of life skills-oriented worksheets on circulatory system materials has been conducted. The study aims to describe the increase of cognitive learning outcomes of students. This study used a pre-experimental design of pre-test and post-test group. The population of this study is all students of class XI IPA SMA. The sample in this research is the students of class XI IPA 1, SMAN 1 Ngoro Jombang. The results show that there is an increase of student learning outcomes from pre-test to post-test that are indicated by the results of classical mastery of 11.1% to 82.3%. These show that the application of life skills oriented worksheet on circulatory system matter can be done well and was be able to increase student learning outcomes.

The objective of this research are to produces a genetics substance interactive slide media that feasible theoretically. Theoretical feasibility got from a validation media. This research is a development research especially slide interactive development based on Ms. Power Point. The data was collected by using media and materi sheet validation. The results of this research is a genetics substance interactive slide media was feasible theoretically. Theoretical feasibility from validation media and material is 83,75% and 97,5% with category very feasible.

KELAYAKAN TEORETIS MEDIA KOMIK MATERI FILUM ARTHROPODA UNTUK KELAS X SMA

Joyful learning can be performed by using appropriate media and learning resources. Comic is a visual media which contain of illustration, text, color, and paragraph that joined in a plot of story. The purposes of this research were to develop comic Arthropoda as educational media in grade X Senior High School and to describe theoretical feasibility of comic based on the expert’s validation. This research was development research which used 4D models, which consisted of four steps, namely define, design, develop, and disseminate. However, the step of disseminate was not be done. The result showed that the theoretical feasibility got average scores 3,77 (very good).
