Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan Organizational Citizenship Behavior ditinjau dari tipe kepribadian A/B. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 35 pramuniaga PT Matahari Department Store Cabang Supermall Pakuwon Indah Surabaya. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah skala Organizational Citizenship Behavior dan skala tipe kepribadian A/B yang disusun menggunakan skala Likert dan skala Guttman. Metode analisis data menggunakan uji Independent Sample Test (Uji-t) untuk menguji perbedaan antara dua variabel yaitu Organizational Citizenship Behavior dan tipe kepribadian A/B dengan taraf kesalahan 5 %. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan taraf signifikansi sebesar 0,000 (p = 0,000). Hasil tersebut membuktikan bahwa terdapat perbedaan Organizational Citizenship Behavior antara pramuniaga yang bertipe kepribadian A dan pramuniaga yang bertipe kepribadian B PT Matahari Department Store Cabang Supermall Pakuwon Indah Surabaya. Pramuniaga yang bertipe kepribadian A memiliki Organizational Citizenship Behavior yang lebih tinggi daripada pramuniaga yang bertipe kepribadian B.

Abstract

This study was aimed to determine the differences in Organizational Citizenship Behavior in terms of type A/B personality. This study used quantitative research methods. The number of subjects in this study were 35 sales associates of PT Matahari Department Store Supermall Pakuwon Indah Surabaya Branch. Data were collected using Organizational Citizenship Behavior scale with Likert scale and type A/B personality scale with Guttman scale. Data were analyzed using Independent Sample Test (t-test) to test the difference between two variables, Organizational Citizenship Behavior and type A/B personality with 5% error level. The results showed a significance level of 0.000 (p = 0.000). These results prove that there is difference in Organizational Citizenship Behavior between sales associates who have type A personality and sales associates who have type B personality. Sales associates who have type A personality have higher Organizational Citizenship Behavior than sales associates who have type B personality.
