DEVIANZ IN DER NOVELLE DER NAME DER ROSE VON UMBERTO ECO

Abstract

Human always to socialized. And sosialisations result in two things that, will be a conformist or be a deviant. if you want socialisation go to well and dont being deviant, required an understanding of the deviation. Der Name der Rose is a novel with crime theme,  in the novel there are many deviations. Deviation is a very interesting discussion, because there would be timeless. That’s is a Motiv Deviation research in the novel Der Name der Rose of Umberto Eco. From this background  they have two problem formulated, it is: 1) how the type of deviations in the novel Der Name der Rose of Umberto Eco? 2) What are the factors that caused deviations in the novel Der Name der Rose of Umberto Eco?. The method in this study used a descriptive analyse method, and sociology of literature Paradigma, and Deviation theory. The primary data source of this research is the novel Der Name der Rose of Umberto Eco. The data analyzed in the form is words, phrases or sentences from the novel, that have relevance to the object of study. The results showed: a)  the type of Deviation in the novel Der Name der Rose among others: (1) Organized Crime. (2) White Collar (corruption Finis Africae) (3) Murder. (4) Shoplifing and employe (5) Suicide. (6) sexual deviation. b) the factors caused deviations in the novel Der Name der Rose among other: (1) the factor being deviant for Organized Crime is a power, in order to keep control of the abbey. (2) White Collar (corruption Finis Africae) come from within ourselves and from the process of socialization with deviant cultur. (3) Murder with  factor is great jealousy and the lack of self control from figur. and abbey became suspicious and no longer with Jorge, it making  killed him. (4) Shoplifing and employe caused differential association factors. he studied from deviant-cultur. (5) Suicide caused from depressed Figur and errors in the context of understanding  the cultures of monastery. (6) sexual deviation: the caused come from ourselves and the process of socialization with deviant cultur, and  Arm.
