Abstract

Literature and psychology have a close relationship, both of them learn about  life human behavior as object. The book "Team Phineas und Ferb" by Dan Povemire and Jeff "Swampy" Marsh is one of the children's book that tells about the motives or needs of the child to do something and try to make it happen. So the study of author tells about motif’s described and realized by Phineas and Ferb..

The formulation of the problem in this study is (1) what kind of motive of figure which be described in the book “Team Phineas und Ferb” by Dan Povenmire and Jeff “Swampy”, (2) what kind of motive which described by figure Phineas and Ferb in the book “Team Phineas und Ferb” from Dan Pvenmire and Jeff “Swampy” Marsh. The purpose of this research is to find out the motive figure Phineas and Ferb in the book “Team Phineas und Ferb” by Dan Povenmire and Jeff “Swampy” and describe the motive which is realization by Phineas and Ferb in the book “Team Phineas und Ferb” by Dan Povenmire and Jeff “Swampy” Marsh. All data from this study are words and sentences on the book “Team Phineas und Ferb” by Dan Povenmire and Jeff “Swampy”. All datas can be analyzes with diction of language theory by Antje Kelle and other diction of language theory. This study is using descriptive method. The results of this study is the motives and realisazation by Phineas and Ferb, is (a) intrinsic motive, (b) realize motive, (c) Drives (Needs), (d) Challenge needs, dan (e) Incentives, and (2) there are 22 acts which doing by Phineas and Ferb for realisazion, is (a) … verwandeln.
