PENGARUH PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE STAD (STUDENT TEAMS ACHIEVEMENT DIVISION) DENGAN METODE PETA KONSEP TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR SISWA PADA SUB POKOK BAHASAN ENERGI DI SMP NEGERI 1 LAREN LAMONGAN

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of cooperative learning type STAD with map concept methods with respect to student’s cognitive learning at talk energy in Junior High Scool 1 Laren Lamongan. This research using True Experimental Design with Control Group Pretest-Postest Design. Determination of samples using Random Sampling and gotten control class (VIII B) and experiment class (VIII A). First treatment in this research is give pre-test to experiment class and and control class in early learning, then give learning procest using cooperative learning type STAD with map concept methods at experiment class and teacher oriented learning that used in Juniar High Scool 1 Laren Lamongan at control class.  At the end of a meeting held a post-test to find student’s cognitive learning. The Data obtained is analyzed with uji-t dua pihak and uji-t satu pihak . The result analysis uji-t dua pihak t_hitung is 5,16 with t_tabel is 2,00, indicate that study result of the experiment class ( VIII A ) different with control class ( VIII B ). The result analysis uji-t satu pihak t_hitung is 5,16 with t_tabel is 1,67, indicate that study result of the experiment class (VIII A) is better than control class (VIII B). Can be concluded that cooperative learning type STAD with map concept influen is positive impact to student’s cognitive learning at talk energy in Junior High Scool 1 laren Lamongan.

Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD dengan metode peta kosep terhadap hasil belajar kognitif siswa pada sub pokok bahasan energi di SMP Negeri 1 Laren Lamongan. Rancangan penelitian ini menggunakan True Experimental Design dengan jenis Control Group Pretest-Postest. Penentuan sampel menggunakan teknik Random Sampling dan diperoleh kelas kontrol (VIII B) dan kelas eksperimen (VIII A). Perlakuan pertama dalam penelitian ini dengan memberikan pre-test pada kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol di awal pertemuan, kemudian memberikan suatu proses pembelajaran menggunakan model kooperatif tipe STAD dengan metode peta konsep pada kelas eksperimen dan model pembelajaran berpusat pada guru (teacher oriented) yang digunakan di SMP Negeri 1 Laren Lamongan pada kelas kontrol. Pada akhir pertemuan diadakan suatu post-test untuk mengetahui hasil belajar kognitif siswa. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan uji-t dua pihak dan uji-t satu pihak. Hasil analisis  uji-t dua pihak didapatkan t_hitung sebesar 5,6 dengan t_tabel sebesar 2,00, menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar  kelas eksperimen (VIII A) berbeda dengan kelas kontrol (VIII B). Hasil uji-t satu pihak didapatkan t_hitung sebesar 5,16 dengan t_tabel sebesar 1,67, menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar  kelas eksperimen (VIII A) lebih baik daripada kelas kontrol (VIII B). Dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD dengan metode peta konsep berpengaruh positif terhadap hasil belajar fisika pada sub pokok bahasan energi di SMP Negeri 1 Laren Lamongan.
