PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE JIGSAW DENGAN KEGIATAN PRAKTIKUM DI LABORATORIUM UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA PADA MATERI GERAK KELAS VII DI SMP NEGERI 2 MENGANTI

Abstract

Education is basically an interaction between educators with learners. To obtain good study results used a model of cooperative learning by Jigsaw type activities in the laboratory. At this Jigsaw cooperative learning type students were asked to form groups of origin and then assembled into their respective groups of experts who have given material. In addition students are doing lab work directly in the laboratory for the study took the matter to the Sub Highlights Motion Rectilinear, because the material does not discuss the matter only theoretically but also in practice. This study aims to describe the management of learning, and learning outcomes of students in cooperative learning by Jigsaw type of lab activities in the laboratory. The design of this study is the One Group Pretest-Postest by using two classes. The subject of this study were students in grade VII-C and VII-D. From the research data was then analyzed to obtain the learning management class VII-C and VII-D is very well categorized by 3.6 and 3.5. The results of observations of the management of cooperative learning by Jigsaw type lab activities said to be reliable in the laboratory. Student learning outcomes covering the three domains, namely cognitive, affective and psychomotor. On the cognitive learning outcomes of students of VII-C of 78.5% and in class VII-D of 77.3% with each category of very good grade. In the affective domain of students' class VII-C and VII-D respectively by 2.8 and 2.7 are categorized properly. In the psychomotor domain of learning outcomes of students of class VII-C and VII-D 2.9 and 2.7 for both categories of weeks to each class. The success rate of students achieving over 60% of teaching materials that can be controlled then the young students who succeed in learning in the classroom VII-C by 83.4% and class VII-D SMP 2 Menganti amounted to 94.46%. The success rate of a process of cooperative learning by Jigsaw type of lab activities in the lab classes VII-C and VII-D is good sekali.Kendala encountered in the implementation of the model type Jigsaw cooperative learning with practical activities in this lab is long enough to take the spatial not conditioned properly and should be conditioned first.

Abstrak. Pendidikan pada dasarnya merupakan interaksi antara pendidik dengan peserta didik. Untuk mendapatkan hasil belajar  yang baik digunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif Tipe Jigsaw dengan kegiatan di laboratorium. Pada  Pembelajaran kooperatif  Tipe Jigsaw ini siswa diminta untuk membentuk kelompok asal dan kemudian berkumpul ke kelompok ahli masing-masing materi yang telah diberikan. Selain itu siswa melakukan praktikum langsung di laboratorium karena pada  penelitian ini mengambil materi Gerak dengan Sub Pokok Bahasan Gerak Lurus, karena pada materi ini tidak hanya membahas materi secara teroritis melainkan juga secara praktikum. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pengelolaan pembelajaran, dan hasil belajar siswa pada pembelajaran kooperatif Tipe Jigsaw dengan  kegiatan praktikum di laboratorium. Desain penelitian ini adalah One Group Pretest-Postest dengan menggunakan 2 kelas. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII-C dan VII-D. Dari data hasil penelitian kemudian dianalisis sehingga diperoleh pengelolaan pembelajaran kelas VII-C dan VII-D dikategorikan sangat baik sebesar 3,6 dan 3,5. Hasil pengamatan pengelolaan pembelajaran kooperatif Tipe Jigsaw dengan kegiatan praktikum di laboratorium dikatakan reliabel.  Hasil belajar siswa mencakup tiga ranah yaitu kognitif, afektif dan psikomotor. Pada ranah kognitif hasil belajar siswa kelas VII-C sebesar 78,5% dan pada kelas VII-D sebesar 77,3% dengan kategori masing-masing kelas sangat baik. Pada ranah afektif hasil

belajar siswa kelas  VII-C dan VII-D masing-masing sebesar 2,8 dan 2,7 dikategorikan baik. Pada ranah psikomotor hasil belajar siswa kelas VII-C sebesar 2,9 dan VII-D sebesar 2,7 dengan kategori baik utuk masing-masing kelas. Tingkat keberhasilan siswa mencapai lebih dari 60% bahan pelajaran yang dapat dikuasai siswa maka siswa yang berhasil dalam pembelajaran pada kelas VII-C sebesar 83,4% dan kelas VII-D SMPN 2 MENGANTI adalah sebesar 94,46%. Tingkat keberhasilan suatu proses pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Jigsaw dengan kegiatan praktikum di laboratorium kelas VII-C dan VII-D adalah baik sekali.Kendala yang dihadapi dalam penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif Tipe Jigsaw dengan kegiatan praktikum di laboratorium ini adalah memerlukan waktu cukup lama untuk penataan ruang yang belum terkondisikan dengan baik dan harus dikondisikan terlebih dahulu.
