In their socialization, mental retarded children have difficulties or cannot interact with their friends in the inclusive school. It is because they cannot take care of and lead themselves.
The next development make the children socialize with their friend. The children do not only get that kinds of social contact, but also social contact. They start to understand that there are some rules and certain social norms to continue their relationship within a group. Unfortunately, children with special needs have various condition, especially mental retarded children. Mental retarded children get troubles in their intelligence. They have poor intelligence. Their intelligence is below the average. Therefore, their social development is disturb.
In their socialization, mental retarded children have difficulties or cannot interact with their friends in the inclusive school. It is because they cannot take care of and lead themselves. This research is pre experimental research by using one group pre test-post test design. There is an observation before and after the action. The data collecting methods are observation and documentation. The research sampel of this research low mental retarded children of first until fifth grades of sidodadi II inclusive primary school surabaya. Non parametric analysis is used as the data analysis technique. This is complited by wilcoxon sign test.
Based on data, the results of the research are, n = 10, X= 8.5, α=5%, ð = 1.58, and μ = 5. In the two side test, Z count (ZH) = 2.21. it is compared to critical score of two. The results is ZH >Z table, 2.21>1.96. it can be concluded that Ho is Rejected and Ha is accepted. It means that there is a significant improvement of social interaction through switcheroo group games at sidodadi II inclusive primary school surabaya.
