PENINGKATAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA DENGAN MENERAPKAN METODE DISKUSI TIPE BUZZ GROUP PADA MATA PELAJARAN IPS KELAS IV SISWA SEKOLAH DASAR

Abstract

Abstrak: Berdasarkan pengamatan peneliti telah terjadi masalah hasil belajar  di kelas IVA SDN SIDOTOPO VIII/55. Hal ini teridentifikasi dari rendahnya nilai dalam mata pelajaran IPS siswa. Ternyata faktor utama dari kondisi ini adalah metode pembelajaran guru yang monoton. Sehingga rumusan masalah yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah (1) Bagaimana aktivitas guru dalam pembelajaran IPS materi koperasi dengan metode pembelajaran diskusi buzz group di kelas IV  SDN Sidotopo VIII Surabaya? (2) Bagaimana aktivitas siswa kelas IV SDN Sidotopo VIII Surabaya ketika pembelajaran IPS materi koperasi dengan metode pembelajaran diskusi buzz group dilaksanakan oleh guru? (3) Bagaimana hasil belajar siswa kelas IV SDN Sidotopo VIII Surabaya pada pembelajaran IPS materi koperasi setelah penerapan metode diskusi buzz group? (4) Bagaimana kendala - kendala yang dihadapi ketika pembelajaran IPS materi koperasi dengan metode pembelajaran diskusi buzz group di kelas IV  SDN Sidotopo VIII Surabaya?. Tujuan penelitian inipun dirumuskan sebagai berikut: (1) Mendeskripsikan aktivitas guru dalam pembelajaran IPS materi koperasi dengan metode pembelajaran diskusi buzz group di kelas IV  SDN Sidotopo VIII Surabaya. (2) Mendeskripsikan aktivitas siswa kelas IV SDN Sidotopo VIII Surabaya ketika pembelajaran IPS materi koperasi dengan metode pembelajaran diskusi buzz group dilaksanakan oleh guru. (3) Mendeskripsikan hasil belajar siswa kelas IV SDN Sidotopo VIII Surabaya pada pembelajaran IPS materi koperasi setelah penerapan metode diskusi buzz group. (4) Mendeskripsikan kendala - kendala yang dihadapi ketika pembelajaran IPS materi koperasi dengan metode pembelajaran diskusi buzz group di kelas IV SDN Sidotopo VIII Surabaya. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif yakni penelitian tindakan kelas dengan teknik analisis data secara kualitatif juga. Penelitian tindakan kelas ini dilakukan dalam dua siklus.Dari hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa dengan menerapkan metode diskusi tipe buzz group dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Hal ini diindikasikan dari ketuntasan siswa pada siklus I sebesar 55% kemudian meningkat pada siklus II yakni sebesar 87,5 %. Dan dilengkapi dalam siklus III yakni 92,5%

Abstract: Based on the observations of researchers has been found the problem of learning outcomes in class IVA Sidotopo VIII/55Elementary School. It is identified from the low values ​​in social studies students. It turns out the main factors of this condition is a monotonous teacher learning methods. So the research problem used in this study were (1) How does the teacher in the learning activity social studies materials cooperative learning methods buzz group discussion in class IV SidotopoVIII Elemtary School Surabaya? (2) What activities fourth grade students of Sidotopo VIII Elementary School Surabaya when learning material social studies cooperative learnings buzz group discussion methods held by the teacher? (3) How do the results of the fourth grade students of Sidotopo VIII Elemantary School Surabaya on cooperative learning material social studies after the application of the method buzz group discussion? (4) What obstacles faced when learning material social studies cooperative learning buzz group discussion methodsin class IV Sidotopo VIII Elementary School Surabaya? Even this research objective formulated as follows: (1) Describe the activities of teachers in the learning material social studies cooperative learning  buzz group discussionmethods in class IV Sidotopo VIII Elemntary school Surabaya. (2) Describe the activity of fourth grade students of Sidotopo VIII Elementary School Surabaya when learning material social studies cooperative learning buzz group discussion methods held by the teacher. (3) Describe the results of the fourth grade students of Sidotopo VIII Elementary School Surabaya on cooperative learning material social studies after the application of the buzz group discussion methods. (4) Describe the obstacles faced when learning material social studies cooperative learning buzz group discussion methods in class IV Sidotopo VIII Elemntary School Surabaya. The research was conducted using qualitative research the type of classroom action research with qualitative data analysis techniques as well. Action research was conducted in two cycles.From the results of this study concluded that by applying the type of buzz group discussion method can improve student learning outcomes. It is indicated from the mastery of students in the first cycle of 55% increase in cycle II then which amounted to 87.5%. And completely in cycle III increased to 92,5%.
