PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN BERDASARKAN MASALAH UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA PADA MATA PELAJARAN IPS KELAS IV SD

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPS di kelas IV SDN Lebo Sidoarjo. Sebanyak 53% siswa dari 49 siswa hasil belajar pada mata pelajaran IPS masih di bawah KKM, yaitu 70. Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah hasil belajar siswa, dan aktivitas guru dan siswa. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut, peneliti akhirnya menerapkan model pembelajaran berdasarkan masalah. Penelitian ini dirancang dengan menggunakan PTK yang terdiri dari 3 siklus. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, tes, dan catatan lapangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan pada setiap siklus. Pada siklus I hasil belajar siswa mencapai 43,2% dengan nilai rata-rata 65,5. Pada siklus II hasil belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan mencapai 61% dengan nilai nilai rata-rata 70. Dan pada siklus III hasil belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan menjadi 84,4% dengan nilai rata-rata 80,1. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran berdasarkan masalah dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPS kelas IV di SDN Lebo Sidoarjo.

Abstract: This research is motivated by the lack of student learning outcomes in social studies in class IV SDN Lebo Sidoarjo. As much as 53% of students from 49 student learning outcomes in social studies are still under KKM is 70. Problem in this research is the student learning outcomes, teachers activity and student activity. Based on these problems, researchers finally implement problem based learning model. This study was designed using action research that consists of 3 cycle. Data collection techniques in this study is the observation, test, and field notes. The result showed an increased in each cycle. In the first cycle of student learning outcomes reached 43,2% with an average value of 65,5. In the second cycle of student learning outcomes reached 61% with an average value of 70. In the third cycle increased to 84,4% with an average value of 80,1. Based on these result it can be concluded that the application of problem based learning model to improve learning outcomes of students in social studies of class IV in SDN Lebo Sidoarjo.
