PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN BERDASARKAN MASALAH UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR IPA UNTUK SISWA SEKOLAH DASAR

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini berawal dari rendahnya hasil belajar siswa kelas VI pada mata pelajaran IPA yang disebabkan guru hanya menggunakan metode ceramah dalam proses pembelajaran sehingga siswa kesulitan untuk mempraktekkan ilmu yang diperolehnya dalam kehidupan nyata. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian tindakan ini adalah untuk mengetahui hasil belajar siswa setelah menerapkan model Pembelajaran Berdasarkan Masalah (PBM). Data diperoleh melalui tes dan penggunaan pedoman observasi, data diolah dengan persentase. Hasil analisis data diperoleh keberhasilan belajar pada siklus I mencapai 67,74% dan pada siklus II mengalami peningkatan menjadi 87,10% siswa tuntas belajar. Dengan demikian, model Pembelajaran Berdasarkan Masalah (PBM) terbukti dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa.

Abstract: The background of this study is the low of learning result of the sixth graders in scient studies that is caused by the teacher only implement a speech method so the student are difficult to applied the knowledge in a real life.The purposes of this action research was the student learning results after applied problem based instruction model. The data were obtained from the test and observation, they were analyzed by the use of percentage. The result of data analysis showed the learning success in the first cycle 67,74% and in the second cycle got increase became 87,10 % of learning completion. So it’s proved that problem based instruction model can increase of the student learning results.
