PENERAPAN METODE INQUIRI DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN STRATEGI PEMBELAJARAN INDIVIDUAL UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR MATA PELAJARAN IPA PADA SISWA SEKOLAH DASAR

Abstract

Abstrak Latar belakang penelitian ini yaitu rendahnya hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPA karena ketidaktepatan model pembelajaran yang digunakan guru dalam proses pembelajaran. Guru masih merupakan sumber informasi, pembelajaran berpusat pada guru dan guru terpancang pada buku paket sehingga siswa tidak aktif dalam pembelajaran.Metode penelitian tindakan kelas menggunakan observasi dan tes. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas IV SDN Wonokusumo VIII/594 Surabaya.Dengan jumlah siswa 39 anak, 17 siswa laki-laki dan 22 siswa perempuan.Penelitian  dilaksanakan di SDN Wonokusumo VIII/594 Surabaya. Data dikumpulkan melalui instrument penelitian, instrument penelitian yang digunakan meliputi observasi dan tes.Untuk mengukur aktivitas guru dan aktivitas siswa digunakan observasi sedangkan untuk siswa menggunakan alat evaluasi dalam bentuk tes.Teknik analisis untuk data observasi dan tes menggunakan teknik kuantitatif.Aktivitas guru telah meningkat dari siklus I dengan persentase 75%, pada siklus II dengan persentase 89%. Aktivitas siswa selama proses pembelajaaran menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pada siklus I dengan persentase 70% dan siklus II 85%. Ketuntasan klasikal siswa pada siklus I sebesar 80% dan pada siklus II sebesar 85%.Penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan metode inquiri dengan menggunakan strategi pembelajaran individual dapat meningkatkan aktivitas guru, aktivitas siwa dan hasil belajar siswa.

Abstract;The background of this research due to the low of the student learning outcomes in science subjects because of inaccuracies learning model used by teachers in the learning process. Teachers are still a source of information, centered on the teacher the learning and teacher stuck in textbooks so students did not active in learning process.Action research method uses observation and tests. Subjects were fourth grade students at SDN Wonokusumo VIII/594 Surabaya. With the number of students 39 children, 17 male students and 22 female students. The experiment was conducted in SDN Wonokusumo VIII/594 Surabaya. Data collected through the research instrument, research instrument used include observation and tests. To measure the activity of teacher and student activities for students be used observation while using evaluation tools in the form of a test. Techniques for the analysis of observational data and the test using quantitative techniques.Activities of teachers has increased from the first cycle with the percentage of 75%, in the second cycle with the percentage of 89%. Student activity during pembelajaaran showed an increase in the first cycle with the percentage of 70% and 85% the second cycle. Classical completeness students in the first cycle by 80% and the second cycle by 85%.This study concluded that the application of the inquiry method using individual learning strategies can enhance the activity of teachers, student activities and student learning outcomes.
