PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN EXAMPLE NON EXAMPLE DENGAN METODE DRILL PADA KOMPETENSI DASAR MENGANALISIS DAN MEMBUAT SURAT DINAS TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR SISWA KELAS X OTKP DI SMK NEGERI 1 SOOKO MOJOKERTO

Abstrak

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran Example Non Example dan metode Drill pada kompetensi dasar menganalisis dan membuat surat dinas siswa kelas X OTKP di SMK Negeri 1 Sooko Mojokerto. Jenis penelitian ini adalah experiment research dengan menggunakan desain penelitian Quasi Experimental Design dan rancangan desain Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh kelas X OTKP SMK Negeri 1 Sooko Mojokerto yang berjumlah 96 siswa. Sampel penelitian yang diambil menggunakan purposive sampling dengan mengambil hasil nilai UTS yang hampir memiliki rata-rata nilai sama dan didapat 2 kelas yaitu X OTKP 1 sebagai experiment class dan X OTKP 3 sebagai control class. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata pada pretest dan posttest experiment class yaitu 55,5 dan 92,65; control class nilai rata-rata pretest dan posttest yaitu 55,5 dan 86,31, sedangkan gainscore experiment class 37,1 dan control class 30,93 Berdasarkan uji t posttest dilakukan dengan menggunakan program SPSS 16.0 melalui uji statistika Independent Sample Test menunjukkan bahwa perolehan perhitungan uji t yaitu taraf signifikansi sebesar 0,00<0,05 dan thitung (4,145)>ttabel (1.998). Uji t gainscore pada experiment class dan control class menunjukkan bahwa taraf signifikansi sebesar 0,01<0,05 dan thitung>ttabel (2,566>1.998). Berdasarkan dari analisis uji t posttest dan gainscore diatas dapat disimpulkan bahwa Ha diterima yaitu terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran Example Non Example dengan metode Drill pada kompetensi dasar menganalisis dan membuat surat dinas.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the differences in student learning outcomes using Example Non Example learning models and drill methods on basic competencies analyzing and making official letters of X OTKP students at Sooko Mojokerto 1 State Vocational School. This type of research is experimental research using the Quasi Experimental Design research and the Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The population in this study were all class X OTKP of SMK Negeri 1 Sooko Mojokerto which numbered 96 students. The research sample was taken using purposive sampling by taking the results of the UTS score which almost had the same average value and obtained 2 classes namely X OTKP 1 as the experimental class and X OTKP 3 as the control class. The results showed that the average values at the pretest and posttest experiment class were 55.5 and 92.65; control class the average value of pretest and posttest is 55.5 and 86.31, while the gainscore experiment class 37,1 and control class 30.93 Based on the posttest t test carried out using the SPSS 16.0 program through statistical tests the Independent Sample Test shows that the acquisition of test calculations t is the significance level of 0.00 <0.05 and tcount (4.145)>ttable (1.998). The gainscore t test on the experiment class and control class shows that the significance level is 0.01 <0.05 and tcount> ttable (2.566> 1.998). Based on the analysis of the posttest t test and the gainscore above, it can be concluded that Ha is accepted, namely there are differences in student learning outcomes using Example Non Example learning models with Drill methods on basic competencies analyzing and making official letters.
