Pengembangan Buku Ajar Berbasis Model Pembelajaran Discovery Learning pada Mata Pelajaran Administrasi Umum Kelas X OTKP 1 di SMK Negeri Mojoagung

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana hasil dari pengembangan buku ajar berbasis model pembelajaran discovery learning pada mata pelajaran administrasi umum kelas X OTKP 1 di SMK Negeri Mojoagung, untuk mengetahui bagaimana kelayakan buku ajar berbasis model pembelajaran discovery learning pada mata pelajaran administrasi umum kelas X OTKP 1 di SMK Negeri Mojoagung, dan bagaimana respon peserta didik terhadap buku ajar berbasis model pembelajaran discovery learning pada mata pelajaran administrasi umum kelas X OTKP 1 di SMK Negeri Mojoagung yang telah dikembangkan oleh peneliti.

Model pengembangan yang digunakan dalam penelitian pengembangan ini yaitu mengacu pada model pengembangan 4D dari Thiagarajan, Semmel dan Sammel (dalam Trianto, 2014) yang berupa empat tahap pengembangan yaitu tahap pendefinisian (define), tahap perancangan (design), tahap pengembangan (develop) dan tahap penyebaran (disseminate). Namun pada tahap penyebaran tidak dilakukan karena tahap penyebaran dilakukan setelah uji coba dilakukan. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada 20 peserta didik kelas X Otomatisasi dan Tata Kelola Perkantoran 1 di SMK Negeri Mojoagung. Instrumen penelitian ini menggunakan lembar validasi ahli materi, lembar validasi ahli bahasa, lembar validasi ahli kegrafikan, dan lembar angket respon peserta didik, dengan menggunakan teknik analisis data hasil persentase kelayakan buku ajar berdasarkan teori dari Riduwan (2016). Dengan hasil validasi kelayakan ahli materi sebesar 88,50%, kelayakan ahli bahasa sebesar 97,14%,dan kelayakan ahli kegrafikan sebesar 97,33%. Total keseluruhan kelayakan buku ajar sebesar 94,32% dengan kriteria interpretasi sangat kuat dapat dinyatakan layak. Uji coba yang dilakukan pada peserta didik menunjukkan hasil rata-rata skor pengembangan buku ajar sebesar 83,20% dengan kriteria interpretasi sangat kuat.

Hasil pengembangan buku ajar berbasis model pembelajaran discovery learning pada mata pelajaran administrasi umum kelas X OTKP 1 di SMK Negeri Mojoagung menunjukkan bahwa respon peserta didik sangat baik. Penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa dalam pengembangan Buku Ajar Berbasis Model Pembelajaran Discovery Learning pada Mata Pelajaran Administrasi Umum Kelas X OTKP 1 di SMK Negeri Mojoagung dinyatakan layak untuk digunakan sebagai bahan ajar. Saran bagi peneliti selanjutnya dapat mengembangkan buku ajar lebih baik dan dapat menyesuaikan kebutuhan yang ada.

This study aims to find out how the results of developing textbooks based on discovery learning models on general administration subjects in Class X OTKP 1 at Mojoagung Vocational HighSchool, to find out how feasibility of textbooks based on discovery learning models on general administration subjects in Class X OTKP 1 at Mojoagung Vocational High School, and how students respond to textbooks based on discovery learning models on general administration subjects in class X OTKP 1 at Mojoagung Vocational High School which have been developed by researchers.
The development model used in this development research is referring to the 4D development model of Thiagarajan, Semmel and Sammel (in Trianto, 2014) in the form of four stages of development, namely the defining phase, the design phase, the development stage and the deployment stage. However, the deployment stage was not carried out because the distribution phase was carried out after the trial was carried out. This research was conducted on 20 students Class X Automation and Office Management 1 at Mojoagung Vocational High School. The instruments of this study used material expert validation sheets, linguistic validation sheets, grammar expert validation sheets, and responses questionnaire sheets of students, using data analysis techniques as a result of the percentage of feasibility of textbooks based on the theory of Riduwan (2016). With the results of the validation of the worth of material experts at 88.50%, the feasibility of linguists at 97.14%, and the eligibility of graphic experts at 97.33%. The overall total textbook eligibility of 94.32% with very strong interpretation criteria can be declared feasible. Trials conducted on students showed an average score of the development of textbooks of 83.20% with very strong interpretation criteria.
The results of the development of textbooks based on discovery learning models in general administration subjects in Class X OTKP 1 in Mojoagung Vocational High School shows that the response of students is very good. This study can be concluded that in the development of Textbooks Based Learning Model of Discovery Learning on General Administration Subjects Class X OTKP 1 in Mojoagung Vocational High School it was declared feasible to be used as teaching material. Suggestions for future researchers can develop better textbooks and can adjust existing needs.
