Penelitian pengembangan bertujuan untuk mengetahui hasil pengembangan buku ajar guru berbasis pendekatan saintifik, kelayakan buku ajar guru berbasis pendekatan saintifik pada mata pelajaran humas dan keprotokolan semester genap kelas XI OTKP di SMKN 2 Blitar, dan respon guru terhadap buku ajar guru berbasis pendekatan saintifik pada mata pelajaran humas dan keprotokolan semester genap kelas XI OTKP di SMKN 2 Blitar. Model pengembangan yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah model pengembangan dari Thiagarajan yakni 4-D yang meliputi tahap define, design, develop, dan diseminate. Dalam penelitian ini tahap diseminate tidak dilakukan. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada 15 guru OTKP di SMKKN 2 Blitar. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah lembar validasi ahli materi, ahli bahasa, ahli kegrafikan dan lembar angket respon guru dengan menggunakan teknik analisis data hasil persentase kelayakan buku ajar adalah 75,83%, kelayakan ahli bahasa sebesar 78,46%, dan kelayakan ahli kegrafikan sebesar 86,67%. Total keseluruhan kelayakan buku ajar guru sebesar 80,32% dengan kriteria interpretasi layak digunakan. Uji coba yang dilakukan pada guru menunjukkan hasil sebesar 89,06% dengan kriteria interpretasi sangat layak. Sehingga bisa disimpulkan buku ajar guru berbasis pendekatan saintifik pada mata pelajaran humas dan keprotokolan semester genap kelas XI OTKP di SMKN 2 Blitar dinyatakan layak untuk dijadikan bahan ajar.

Abstract

Development research aims to find out the results of the development of teacher textbooks based on scientific approaches, the feasibility of teacher textbooks based on scientific approaches to public relations and protocols even semester semester XI OTKP at SMKN 2 Blitar and teacher responses to teacher textbooks based on scientific approaches to public relations subjects and protocol of even semester XI OTKP class at SMK 2 Blitar. The development of Thiagarajan is 4-D which includes the define, design, develop, and desiminate stages. In the study the desiminate stage was not carried out. This research was conducted on 15 OTKP teachers in SMK 2 Blitar. The instrument used was the validation sheet of material experts, linguists, graphic experts and teacher questionnaire responses using data analysis techniques resulting from the percentage of textbook eligibility was 75.83%, the eligibility of linguists was 78.46%, and the eligibility of graphic experts was 86 67%. The total overall eligibility of teachers textbooks amounted to 80.32% with the interpretation criteria appropriate to use. Experiments carried out on teachers showed results of 89.06% with very decent interpretation criteria. So it can be concluded that the development of teacher textbooks based on a scientific approach to public relations and protocol even semester XI OTKP class at SMKN 2 Blitar is declared suitable for use as teaching material.
