ASAL-USUL NAMA-NAMA DESA DI KECAMATAN NGIMBANG KABUPATEN LAMONGAN KAJIAN STRUKTUR, FUNGSI, DAN NILAI BUDAYA

Abstract

ABSTRAK

Setiap desa mempunyai sejarah tersendiri mengenai bagaimana asal-usul pemberian nama desanya, termasuk nama desa yang ada di Kecamatan Ngimbang, pemberian nama-nama desa berasal dari sejarah yang pernah terjadi di daerah tersebut. Pada penelitian ini mengambil objek kajian dengan judul “Asal-usul Nama-nama Desa di Kecamatan Ngimbang Kabupaten Lamongan.”

Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini yaitu a. Bagaimana stuktur cerita asal-usul nama desa di Kecamatan Ngimbang Kabupaten Lamongan, b. Bagaimana fungsi cerita asal-usul nama desa di Kecamatan Ngimbang Kabupaten Lamongan, c. Bagaimana nilai budaya cerita asal-usul nama desa di Kecamatan Ngimbang Kabupaten Lamongan

Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif, sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah sumber data utama yaitu seorang informan yang mengetahui benar tentang cerita asal-usul nama-nama desa di Kecamatan Ngimbang Kabupaten Lamongan. Data penelitian ini mendeskripsikan stuktur, fungsi dan nilai budaya pada cerita asal-usul nama desa di Kecamatan Ngimbang kabupaten Lamongan. Objek penelitian meliputi cerita asal-usul nama-nama desa di Kecamatan Ngimbang Kabupaten Lamongan. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian menggunakan teknik observasi, teknik wawancara, teknik pencatatan, teknik perekaman dan teknik dokumentasi.

Hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan yang pertama, berdasarkan stuktur naratif ala Maranda, stuktur cerita asal-usul nama desa di Kecamatan Ngimbang Kabupaten Lamongan memiliki alur maju karena ceritanya berurutan. Semua cerita yang dipilih telah memenuhi stuktur tersebut.

Kedua, dilihat dari segi fungsi, sama seperti yang ada pada analisis stuktur. Sastra lisan yang dipilih telah memenuhi semua fungsi Bascom, yaitu sebagai hiburan, sebagai alat pengesahan pranata-pranata dan lembaga-lembaga kebudayaan, sebagai media pendidikan, dan sebagai alat pemaksa dan pengawas norma-norma masyarakat akan selalu dipatuhi oleh anggota kolektifnya.

Ketiga, nilai budaya yang ada pada sastra lisan di Kecamatan Ngimbang Kabupaten Lamongan semuanya memenuhi nilai budaya Lantini yaitu nilai didaktik, nilai kepahlawanan, nilai etik, dan nilai religius.

Each village has its own history of how the name of the village originates, including the name of the village in Ngimbang Subdistrict, the giving of village names from the history that has occurred in the area. In this study took the object of study with the title "The Origins of Village Names in Ngimbang District, Lamongan Regency."

The formulation of the problem in this study is a. How is the structure of the story of the origin of the name of the village in Ngimbang District, Lamongan Regency, b. What is the function of the story of the origin of the name of the village in Ngimbang District, Lamongan Regency, c. What is the cultural value of the story of the origin of the name of the village in Ngimbang District, Lamongan Regency.

This study uses a qualitative descriptive method, the source of data in this study is the main data source in this study is an informant who knows correctly about the story of the origin of the names of villages in Ngimbang District, Lamongan Regency. This research data is describing the structure, functions and cultural values ​​in the story of the origin of the name of the village in Ngimbang Subdistrict, Lamongan Regency. The object of this study covers the story of the origin of the names of villages in Ngimbang District, Lamongan Regency. Data collection techniques in this study used observation techniques, interview techniques, recording techniques, recording techniques and documentation techniques.

The results of this study can be concluded the one, that based on the narrative structure Ala Maranda, the structure of the story of the origin of the name of the village in Ngimbang Subdistrict, Lamongan Regency has a progressive flow because of its sequential story. All selected stories have fulfilled the structure.

The selection is in terms of functions, the same as in the structure analysis. The chosen oral literature has fulfilled all the functions of Bascom, namely as entertainment, as a means of ratifying cultural institutions and institutions, as an educational medium, and as a means of enforcing and supervising the norms of society will always be obeyed by its collective members.

Cultural values ​​that exist in oral literature in Ngimbang Subdistrict, Lamongan Regency all meet the cultural values ​​of Lantini, namely didactic values, heroic values, ethical values, and religious values.
