ANALISIS MISKONSEPSI TERTINGGI MATERI EKOLOGI PADA SISWA SEKOLAH MENENGAH ATAS (SMA)

Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu  mendeskripsikan hasil miskonsepsi tertinggi pada materi ekologi di SMA Negeri 17 Surabaya dan SMA Swasta Al-Falah Surabaya dan mendeskripsikan penyebab miskonsepsi siswa pada topik materi ekologi yang tergolong tinggi pada dua sekolah tersebut. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan menggunakani nstrumen Three-teir Test dan wawancara. Penelitian melibatkan 58 siswa dari kelas X SMA di Surabaya. Hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa materi ekologi yang memiliki miskonsepsi siswa paling banyak diantaranya topik aliran energi sebesar 36,21%, topik niche sebesar 31,89%, topic rantai makanan sebesar 30,6% dan  hasil wawancara siswa dengan guru biologi yaitu diperoleh penyebab miskonsepsi karena faktor guru, siswa, dan buku pelajaran.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is was aimed to describe the highest misconceptions result on ecology subject at SMA Negeri 17 Surabaya and SMA Al-Falah Surabaya and to described the cause of students misconception on the ecology subject that was considerably high at the two schools. This research used qualitative descriptive research type that using Three-teir Test and interview instruments. Research involved 58 students from grade ten SMA in Surabaya. The results of research known that the most students are having misconception on Ecology subject were energy flow topic got 36,21%, niche topic gets 31,89%, the topic of the food chain got 30,6% and the results from interviews with teachers and students known that the cause of misconception were the teachers, the students, and textbooks.
