This study aims to describe the moral values contained in three fairy tales by the Brothers Grimm, namely Die Bienenkönigin, Die Weiße Schlange, and Der Froschkönig. The research employed a qualitative descriptive approach using content analysis. The data source consisted of the original texts of the three fairy tales published in the Kinder und Hausmärchen collection (Reclam Edition, 2005). The analysis was based on Nurgiyantoro's (2013) taxonomy of moral values, which classifies moral values into four categories: the relationship between humans and themselves, humans and others, humans and the environment or other living beings, and humans and God. The findings revealed 38 instances of moral values, consisting of 13 data (34.2%) related to the relationship between humans and themselves, 11 data (28.9%) related to the relationship between humans and others, 10 data (26.3%) related to the relationship between humans and the environment and other living beings, and 4 data (10.5%) related to the relationship between humans and God. Die Bienenkönigin predominantly emphasizes compassion toward living creatures and the environment, Die Weiße Schlange highlights honesty, integrity, and responsibility, while Der Froschkönig focuses on commitment to keeping promises and moral responsibility. Overall, the three fairy tales consistently present moral values through the principles of reward and punishment, empathy, compassion, and integrity as the foundation of character building. The findings are expected to contribute to children's literature studies and character education.
