MAKNA「花」HANA ‘BUNGA’ DALAM SERIAL KOMIK「花の名前」HANA NO NAMAE KARYA SAITOU KEN

Abstract

Komik adalah salah satu bentuk karya sastra. Komik 「花の名前」Hana no Namae Karya Saitou Ken adalah komik yang memiliki cerita yang susah dimengerti dan menggunakan bahasa yang menggunakan simbol yaitu menggunakan kata 「花」hana  ‘bunga’. Kata 「花」hana  ‘bunga’ memiliki bermacam-macam makna. Berdasarkan kenyataan tersebut maka penelitian ini mengkaji kata 「花」hana  ‘bunga’ yang meliputi permasalahan : bagaimanakah makna kata 「花」hana  ‘bunga’, peranan kata 「花」hana  ‘bunga’ terhadap isi cerita dan motivasi penggunaan kata 「花」hana  ‘bunga’ oleh tokoh Mizushima Kei dalam serial komik 「花の名前」Hana no Namae karya Saitou Ken.

Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif. Sumber data penelitian ini adalah komik 「花の名前」dan dari sumber data tersebut diperoleh 20 data yang berupa monolog dan dialog.

Hasil dari analisis penelitian ini adalah : terdapat tiga makna kata 「花」hana  ‘bunga’ dalam komik 「花の名前」　Hana no Namae karya Saitou Ken yaitu Chouko yang merupakan tokoh utama wanita, cinta dan kehidupan. Peranan kata 「花」hana  ‘bunga’ terhadap isi cerita terbagi menjadi tiga peranan yaitu sebagai penghubung antara dunia nyata dengan dunia dalam komik, merangsang imajinasi pembaca serta memperindah bahasa yang digunakan dalam komik 「花の名前」　Hana no Namae . Motivasi Mizushima Kei dalam pengunaan kata 「花」hana  ‘bunga’ untuk menyimbolkan Chouko dan cinta dilihat dari konteks, latar tempat dimana terjadinya monolog maupun dialog Mizuhima Kei dan latar suasana.

Abstract

Comic is one form of literature. Saitou Ken’s Hana no Namae has story that difficult to understand by reader and it uses the word 「花」 hana 'flower' as symbolic language. The word「花」 hana 'flower' has a variety of meanings. Based on this fact, this research’s problems are : how is the meaning of the word 「花」 hana 'flower', the role of the 「花」 hana 'flower' of the content of the story and the motivation to use the word 「花」 hana by Kei Mizushima in the Saitou Ken’s comic series Hana no Namae.

The method that used in this research is descriptive qualitative method. Data sources of this study is the comic and data obtained from source data is 20 of monologues and dialogues.

The results of this  research are: there are three meanings of the word 「花」 hana 'flower' in Saitou Ken’s Hana no Namae is Chouko who is the main female character, love and life. The role of the 「花」 hana 'flower' of the content of the story is divided into three roles, namely as a link between the real world with the world of the comic, stimulating the reader's imagination as well as beautify the language used in the comic 「花 の 名前」 Hana no Namae. Mizushima Kei motivation in the use of the word 「花」 hana 'flower' to symbolize Chouko and love are seen from the context, the background of the place where the monologue or dialogue Mizuhima Kei said and the background atmosphere..
