ANALISIS CAMPUR KODE PADA LAGU SHADOWS MILIK JOHNNY’S WEST (KAJIAN SOSIOLINGUISTIK)

Abstract

Abstract
Currently, there are many Japanese songs whose lyrics are mixed with English. This kind of phenomenon
is known as code mixing. The purpose of this research is to explain code mixing on Japanese song lyrics.
More specific to describe what kinds of code mixing in the lyrics, as well as to explain the factors that
caused the code mixing. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The data of this research
were obtained from the lyrics of song called shadows by Johnny’s West. Based on the song lyrics, the
results show that there are 6 data for kinds of code mixing. Which is all outer code mixing. Then there are
found 7 forms of code mixing: 2 insertion of elements tangible word, 3 insertion of elements tangible
phrase, and 2 insertion of elements tangible clause. The factors that caused the code mixing is informal
situation (the casuality), there is no exact word that can be used in that language, and the speaker wants to
show their skills in a foreign language.

要旨
現在、歌詞が英語と混ざっている日本語の曲はたくさんある。これはコードミキシングと呼ば
れる。この研究の目的は日本の歌のコードミキシングを説明することである。歌詞のなかにど
のようなコードミキシングを説明して、そしてコードミキシングを引き起こした要因を説明す
る。この研究として、社会的要因に対して男性語と女性語の使用である。この研究のデータは、
Johnny’s West による shadows と呼ばれる歌から得られる。歌詞の基づいて、結果はコードミキ
シングの種類に 6 つのデータがあることを示している。これはすべてアウトコードミキシング
である。次に、７つの形式のコードミキシングがある：単語における要素の挿入は２つ、フレ
ーズにおける要素の挿入は３つ、条項における要素の挿入は２つである。コードミキシングを
引き起きした要因は非公式の状況だし、言語には使用できる性格な単語はないし、そして話者
は外国語で自分のスキルをみせたいである。
