Abstract
At this time literary works can be reached widely, not only from poetry in books, or stories in novels, but can
be easily accessed from anywhere and anytime. One of the literary work that has been developed is the conversation in
the podcast, which is analyzed in this research. Podcasts are currently in great demand by young people, because they
are easy to use and can still be heard even when used other applications. Therefore, the researcher took the object of
study in the podcast "America ni Watattemimashita" by Sueko and Mama, because as a foreign language learner who
rarely uses Aizuchi, I am curious about how the form and function of Aizuchi when used correctly. So this study
discusses the form and function of Aizuchi in accordance with the theory that has been found. Based on the results of
the analysis in this study, nine forms of Aizuchi were found, from nine forms there were 308 Aizuchi (un), and the least
appearing Aizuchi (sugoi) 2 data. Then it was also found that the Aizuchi function as many as four functions, with the
data that often appears has the ?????????? function (kiiteiru to iu shingou) with 393 data, and the function
(kansei no hyoushutsu) with a total of 6 data. This obtained Aizuchi's form as well as its function.
