Abstract

Abstract

Language is always used by humans in everyday life to communicate with other humans. Language acts as
a communication tool between speakers and speech partners so that the messageconveyed can be understood.
This communication is realized through speech. One of them is expressive illocutionary speech acts, these
speech acts explain psychological statements such as joy, sadness, misery, pleasure, hatred, and others. This
scientific articles is written in a qualitative form and a descriptive approach which aims to show the
expressive illocutionary speech act in the Japanese anime, namely ‘A Silent Voice’. This article uses a
qualitative descriptive approach, namely data from the anime ‘A Silent Voice’ containing expressive
illocutionary speech acts from character name Shouya Ishida. Based on the research conducted, it has been
found 18 data regarding expressice illocutionary speech acts of Shouya Ishida character which is divided
into 6 forms, namely: 3 data of hatred 3 data of joy, 4 data of difficulty, 2 data of pleasure, 3 data of misery,
and 3 data of sadness.

要旨

人間は日常生活の中で、常に他の人間とコミュニケーションをとるために、言語を使用してい
ます。言語は、話し手と話し手の間で、伝えられたメッセージが理解できるようにするための
コミュニケーションツールとして機能します。このコミュニケーションは、音声によって実現
される。その一つが表現的な非発動性発話行為であり、これらの発話行為は喜び、悲しみ、惨
めさ、喜び、憎しみなどの心理的な発言を説明するものである。本論文は、日本のアニメ「A
Silent Voice」における表現的な非発動性発話行為を示すことを目的とし、定性的な記述的ア
プローチで書かれている。この論文では、質的記述アプローチ、すなわち、石田将也というキ
ャラクターが表現する非発動性発話行為を含むアニメ「A Silent Voice」のデータを用いてい
る。その結果、石田将也の非言語表現データは 18 件であり、それらは 6 つの形態に分類される
ことがわかった。このデータは、憎しみ 3 データ、喜び 3 データ、困難 4 データ、喜び 2 デー
タ、不幸 3 データ、悲しみ 3 データである。
