Abstract
This study discusses the forms and factors that cause code switching and code mixing on Nihongo Partners
Instagram account at SMA Negeri 1 Taruna Madani Jawa Timur. This research is a descriptive qualitative
research because it contains utterances that contain code switching and code mixing in the research
subjects. The data collection technique used is in this research are observation and documentation. The
results of this study show that the form of code switching only consists of internal code switching as much
as 40 data classified based on language switching. The form of switching from foreign language to native
language as much as 20 data, switching from native language to foreign language 5 data, switching from
foreign language to native language back to foreign language 10 data, and switching from native language
to foreign language back to native language 5 data. The form of code mixing consists of external code
switching and hybrid code switching as much as 19 data classified based on language level. External code
switching occurs at the word level as much as 14 data and phrase level as much as 7 data. Mixed code
switching occurs at the phrase level only has 1 data. The cause of code switching has several factors,
including factors from the speaker as much as 23 data, the interlocutor as much as 8 data, changes in the
situation with the presence of a third person as a speaker has 1 data, and changes in the topic of
conversation as much as 8 data. Code mixing is caused by factors from the interlocutor as much as 5 data,
function and purpose as much as 12 data, and limitations on the use of code as much as 2 data.

要旨
本研究は、SMA Negeri 1 Taruna Madani Jawa Timur の日本語パートナーズのインスタグラムアカ
ウントにおけるコードスイッチングとコードミキシングの形態と要因について論じる。本研究
は、調査対象者のコードスイッチングやコードミキシングを含む発話を対象とするため、記述
的質的研究である。本研究で用いたデータ収集技法は観察と文書化である。本研究の結果、コ
ード・スイッチングの形態は、言語スイッチングに基づいて分類された 40 個のデータと同様に、
内部コード・スイッチングのみから構成されていることが示された。外国語から母国語へのス
イッチングは 20 個のデータ、母国語から外国語へのスイッチングは 5 個のデータ、外国語から
母国語へのスイッチングは 10 個のデータ、母国語から外国語へのスイッチングは 5 個のデータ
であった。コード・ミキシングの形態は、言語レベルに基づいて分類された 19 個のデータのう
ち、外部コード・スイッチングとハイブリッド・コード・スイッチングからなる。外部コード
スイッチングは単語レベルで 14 個のデータ、言句レベルで 7 個のデータ発生している。言句レ
ベルで発生する混合コード・スイッチングは 1 個のデータのみである。コード・スイッチング
の原因には、話し手の要因が 23 個のデータ、対話者の要因が 8 個のデータ、話し手としての第
三者の存在による状況の変化が 1 個のデータ、会話の話題の変化が 8 個のデータと、いくつか
の要因がある。コード・ミキシングの原因は、対話者の要因が 5 個のデータ、機能・目的が 12
個のデータ、コードの限定使用が 2 個のデータとなっている。
