PROBLEMATIKA SISWA SMA NEGERI 2 SIDOARJO DALAM PENGUASAAN KETERAMPILAN MEMBACA HURUF JEPANG
Abstract
ABSTRACT
This study aims to describe the form of language deviation in reading kana alphabets and students problems in reading kana alphabets. This research uses a qualitative approach. Data collection was in the form of test and interview. Respondent for filling out the test amounted to 33 students of class XII Language and Culture of SMA Negeri 2 Sidoarjo who received Japanese language learning as a compulsory subject for three years. Respondents for interview data collection amounted to four people who received high scores of 1 person, middle scores of 2 people, and low scores of 1 person. Data analysis refers to Miles and Huberman's theory, which includes data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The conclusions of this study are: (1) The form of language deviation in reading kana alphabets that occurs in XII IBB student at SMA Negeri 2 Sidoarjo is the type of mistakes, with a total of 18 forms of mistakes. This type of error was not found in this study. (2) After being confirmed by the interview, it was found that the respondents made more mistakes on katakana alphabets due to the impression of alphabets characteristics and the lack of alphabets recognition period during Japanese language learning. In addition, the use of handakuten, dakuten, and youon punctuation marks was not learned during the 3 years of learning Japanese.
