MAJAS HIPERBOLA PADA LAGU JEPANG DALAM ANIME ONE PIECE FILM:RED KARYA EIICHIRO ODA (KAJIAN SEMANTIK)

Abstract

This researchis a semantic study related to the use of hyperbole found in Japanese song lyrics in the anime One Piece Film:RED. In Japanese, hyperboleis refered as 誇張 (kochou) or exaggeration. This analysis was a descriptive qualitative approach, using observation method and note-taking technique. The theory used in this study is the theory of hyperbole proposed by Sato (1978). The purpose of this research is to describe the types of hyperbole found in the Japanese songs of One Piece Film:RED along with their meanings. The result of the study show that from the analysis of 8 songs, 30 data excerpts containing hyperbole were identified, predominantly methaphorical hyperboles. This excerpts tend to exhibit sentence pattern such as ~世界中, ~みたいに, ~ように, and ~なる. In addition, some lyrics are considered contain hyperbole based on their meanings in Indonesian. In conclusion, as songs are generally used as a medium of entertainment, they naturally using certain styles of language to enhance aesthetic value and attract listeners.

要旨

この研究は、アニメ『ONE PIECE FILM:RED』の日本語の歌詞における誇張表現の使用について意味的に研究したものである。日本語では、誇張することを「過剰」という。この分析では、観察と記録の方法を使用した記述的定性的なアプローチを使用する。使用される理論は佐藤（1978）の双曲線理論である。本研究の目的は、『ONE PIECE FILM:RED』の日本語の歌詞に見られる様々な誇張表現の種類と意味を記述することである。調査の結果、8曲の歌詞を分析したところ、誇張表現を含む歌詞の断片が30個見つかり、その大部分は比喩的な誇張表現であった。これらの断片には、「世界中で」「のように」「同じように」「なる」などの多くの文型が含まれている。また、一部の歌詞はインドネシア語で解釈すると誇張されていると考えられる。結論として、歌は一般的に娯楽の手段として使用されるため、歌は美的価値を高め、聴衆の注意を引くために特定の言語表現を使用する必要がある。
