HEGEMONI DALAM FILM ANONYMA - EINE FRAU IN BERLIN KARYA MAX FÄRBERBÖCK

Abstract

A film with the backdrop of World War 2 represents a hegemony in the form of power. The events studied were the hegemonic power that is located in the capital of Germany, Berlin by the Red Army of the Soviet Union besieged the capital city, the Soviet Union's role as the ruling class. The research that will be discussed include qualitative research has the purpose to describe theory from Antonio Gramsci in the film Anonyma – Eine Frau in Berlin by Max Färberböck. The results show that there are 3 key concepts of hegemony from Antonio Gramsci that occur in the film Anonyma - Eine Frau in Berlin, namely the concept of hegemony, state, and ideology. The key hegemony concept consists of 18 data consisting of: 7 quotations from dialogue with the concept of hegemony, 5 quotations from dialogue with the concept of state, and 5 quotations from dialogue with the concept of ideology which contain statements from movie characters. The data source comes from a film produced by Constantin Film AG, home film production from Munich. The researcher used data collection techniques in the form of documentation are sorted by how to research, understand, and groups. Data analysis was performed with how to identify, classify, and infer the final result. This study explains how the form of the hegemony of the Soviet Union in the treat German women such as sexual violence after World War 2 ended. Figures in the film lead hegemony in others that benefit themselves or in groups. This hegemony is sourced from the authority, power, and rights of each individual or figures involved in the film. From the framework theory of Antonio Gramsci, researcher can determine how the actions of the figures which show the form of the hegemony of the Soviet Union, as well as how the women in Berlin face the hegemony. Ideas the thought of Gramsci on hegemony power is considered appropriate to be the basis of research conducted by researcher.
