Abstrak

Penelitian skripsi ini dirancang dan dilaksanakan dengan tujuan untuk mempelajari mekanisme penentuan magnitudo gempa bumi lokal  M_pd  di wilayah Sulawesi Barat dan Sulawesi Tengah melalui perhitungan langsung dan cepat periode dominan T_d dengan bantuan aplikasi Joko Tingkir. Untuk kasus gempa lokal dengan episenter kombinasi, persamaan empiris temuan penelitian ini adalah M_pd = (T_d + 6,6799)/1,5199 berlaku untuk Sulawesi Barat dan  M_pd = (T_d + 3,3648)/0,8464  berlaku untuk Sulawesi Tengah. Kesesuaian estimasi magnitudo gempa lokal  M_pd pada penelitian ini adalah standar deviasi 0,2.

Abstract

This research talk about designed and axecuted with the purpose of studying the mechanism of the determination of magnitde earthquake lokal M_pd in the West Sulawesi and Central Sulawesi through calculation direct and fast the dominant period Td with the help of application Joko Tingkir. In the case of local quake episenter with a combination, the equation empirical findings of this study is M_pd = (T_d + 6,6799)/1,5199 for west Sulawesi and  M_pd = (T_d + 3,3648)/0,8464 for central Sulawesi. Conformity estimation magnitudo earthquake local M_pd to reseach is standart deviation 0,2.
