Sintesis dan Karakterisasi Material Katoda LiFePO4 pada Baterai Lithium Ion

Saat ini penelitian mengenai material katoda pada baterai lithium ion sedang gencar dilakukan. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui hasil sintesis LiFePO4 dengan metode sintesis solid-state reaction. Telah dilakukan sintesis karakterisasi material LiFePO4 dengan metode solid state reaction pada kondisi kalsinasi dan sintering dialiri gas nitrogen. Hasil XRD menunjukkan masih terdapat fasa impuritas Fe2O3 dan hasil FE-SEM juga menunjukkan adanya fasa impuritas yang menggumpal dengan fasa LiFePO4. Nilai koefsien difusi lithium ion dan nilai konduktivitas LiFePO4 masing-masing sebesar 0,5838 cm2/cm dan 0,0109 S/cm.

Abstract

Currently research on lithium battery cathodes is being intensively carried out. The aim of this research is to describe synthesis of LiFePO4 with solid-state reaction method. Synthesis of LiFePO4 materials with solid-state reaction method under nitrogen calcination and sintering condition. The XRD test showed that there is still an impurity phase of Fe2O3 and the FE-SEM test also indicate the presence of an impurity phase which agglomeration with the LiFePO4 phase. The diffusion coefficient of lithium ion and the value of LiFePO4 conductivity were 0.5838 cm2/cm and 0.0109 S/cm, respectively.
