PERBEDAAN KEMANDIRIAN BELAJAR ANTARA SISWA MENDAPATKAN JAM PELAJARAN TAMBAHAN DAN SISWA TIDAK DENGAN JAM PELAJARAN TAMBAHAN DI KELAS XI SMA AL-ISLAM KRIAN

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui adakah perbedaan kemandirian belajar antara siswa yang mendapatkan jam pelajaran dan siswa yang tidak mendapatkan jam pelajaran di kelas XI SMA Al-Islam Krian. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas XI IPA dan IPS SMA Al-Islam Krian dengan sampel sebanyak 116 siswa yang mengikuti jam pelajaran tambahan dan 116 siswa yang tidak mengikuti jam pelajaran tambahan. Penelitian variabel kemandirian belajar menggunakan angket likert dengan skor minimal 1 dan skor maksimal 4. Dari hasil uji validitas dan reliabilitas diperoleh hasil yaitu angket kemandirian belajar sebanyak 22 item. Data yang diperoleh dari penelitian di uji prasyaratkan terlebih dahulu dengan uji normalitas dan homogenitas kemudian dianalisis menggunakan uji t dua sampel independen.Hasil penelitian yang telah diuji yaitu siswa yang mendapatkan jam pelajaran tambahan memiliki rata-rata sebesar 60,97, sedangkan siswa yang tidak mengikuti jam pelajaran tambahan memiliki rata-rata sebesar 63,29. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data uji t dua sampel independen pada variabel kemandirian belajar memperoleh 0,035 < 0,05, maka H1 diterima yang berarti terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan pada kemandirian belajar siswa dengan jam pelajaran tambahan dan siswa tidak dengan jam pelajaran tambahan.

Abstract

This research has aimed to know whether there were any difference of independent learning between the students who got the additional classes and students who did not, in eleventh grade of SMA Al-Islam Krian. It used a quantitative approach. The populations in this study were the eleventh graders of science and social in SMA Al-Islam Krian. They were 116 students who took the additional classes and 116 students who did not. To measure the students’ independent learning, the researcher used the questionnaire proposed by Likert scale. He stated that the minimum score is one and the maximum score is four. After the researcher measured the validity and the reliability of questioner, she obtained 22 items which were valid and reliable. The data were measured using normality and homogenity test. Then it would be analyzed by using two independent samples t-test. After analyzing the data, it showed that the average of students who got additional classes was 60.97, while the average of the students who did not got the additional classes was 63.29. In addition, the results of the data which were analyzed by two independent samples t test on independent learning variables showed 0.035 <0.05 which mean H1 was accepted. It can be concluded that there were significant differences of independent learning between the students who got the additional classes and the students who did not.
