IMPLEMENTASI PENDIDIKAN KARAKTER BERBASIS KEDISIPLINAN BAGI PESERTA DIDIK DI SMA MUHAMMADIYAH 1 BABAT LAMONGAN

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis: (1)Bagaimana implementasi

pendidikan karakter berbasis kedisiplinan bagi peserta didik di SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Babat Lamongan; (2) Apa saja faktor pendukung dan penghambat dalam implementasi pendidikan karakter berbasis kedisiplinan bagi peserta didik di SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Babat Lamongan.

Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif dan rancangan penelitian studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi. Data dianalisis dengan melakukan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan verifikasi data. Pengecekan keabsahan data dilakukan dengan kredibilitas, dependabilitas, transferabilitas, dan konfirmabilitas.

Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) implementasi pendidikan karakter berbasis kedisiplinan bagi peserta didik dilakukan melaui (a) penetapan aturan dan pembentukan tim tata tertib;(b) pengajaran sikap disiplin peserta didik; (c) mendorong guru sebagai tauladan siswa; (d) pembudayaan kedisiplinan; (2) adapun faktor pendukung dalam implementasi pendidikan karakter berbasis kedisiplinan bagi peserta didik adalah, (a) motivasi; (b) lingkungan sekolah yang positif; (c) kepemimpinan; (d) komunikasi yang baik. Sedangkan faktor yang menghambat adalah (a) kesadaran siswa; (b) kurang pedulinya guru.

Abstract

The objective of this study was to know and analyse of the implementation of academic supervision to increase the teacher’s work through : (1) how is the punctuality-based character education for the students implemented at SMA Muhammadiyah 1 of Babat Lamongan and (2) what are the factors that influence and support the implementation punctuality-based character education for the students at SMA Muhammadiyah 1 of Babat Lamongan.

Furthermore, this research employed qualitative approach by means of descriptive method and case study research design. To collect the data, the researcher employed interview, observation, and documentation. Thereafter, the data will be analyzed through following steps; reducing the data, serving the data, and verifying the data. To validate, the tests of credibility, dependability, transferability, and conformability were conducted.

The results of this study indicate that : (1) The implementation punctuality-based character education at SMA Muhammadiyah 1 of Babat was executed through, (a) established rules and disciplines of team formation; (b) teaching the discipline of learners; (d) encourage the teacher as a role model student; (d) culturing punctual (2) as for the Factors that support the implementation punctuality-based character education for the students at SMA Muhammadiyah 1 of Babat were, (a) motivation; (b) school environment that was positive; (c) the leadership; (d) good comunication. Meanwhile, the factors that might be the obstacles of the implementation were, (a) the lack of students awareness; (b) lack of attention from the teachers.
