PENGELOLAAN LAYANAN PENGGUNA PERPUSTAKAAN SEKOLAH DALAM MENINGKATKAN MINAT BACA DI SMA PANCA MARGA 1 LAMONGAN

Abstract

Abstrak

Perpustakaan sekolah memerlukan pengelolaan yang bermutu dan inovatif serta sumber daya manusia yang mampu mengelolah dengan baik.

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis. (1) Perencanaan layanan pengguna perpustakaan dalam meningkatkan minat baca di SMA Panca Marga 1 Lamongan; (2) Pengorganisasian layanan pengguna perpustakaan dalam meningkatkan minat baca di SMA Panca Marga 1 Lamongan; (3) Pelibatan SDM (sumber daya manusia) dalam layanan pengguna perpustakaan dalam meningkatkan minat baca di SMA Panca Marga 1 Lamongan; (4) Pengawasan layanan pengguna perpustakaan dalam meningkatakan minat baca di SMA Panca Marga 1 Lamongan.

Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Perencanaan layanan pengguna perpustakaan dalam meningkatkan minat baca di SMA Panca Marga 1 Lamongan melaksanakan 3 (tiga) program kerja yaitu: (a) Program jangka pendek; (b) Program jangka panjang; (c) Program kerja tahunan. (2) Pengorganisasian layanan pengguna perpustakaan dalam meningkatkan minat baca di SMA Panca Marga 1 Lamongan. Pengorganisasian layanan pengguna merupakan upaya yang dilakukanoleh kepala perpustakaan untuk meningkatkan minat baca para siswa. Upaya ini agar kegiatan pelayanan sirkulasi, referensi, dan promosi dapat berjalan sesuai apa yang telah direncanakan. (3) Pelibatan SDM (sumber daya manausia) dalam layanan pengguna perpustakaan dalam meningkatkan minat baca di SMA Panca Marga 1 Lamongan. Pelibatan SDM bertujuan agar layanan pengguna yang diberikan tepat pada kebutuhan yang diperlukan oleh para siswa ada 2 (dua) kegiatan yang melibatkan SDM dalam sekolah yaitu: (a) kegiatan pelayanan sirkulasi, referensi, dan promosi; (b) kegaiatan kelas alternatif. (4) Pengawasan layanan pengguna perpustakaan dalam meningkatkan minat baca di SMA Panca Marga 1 Lamongan berbentuk pengawsasan langsung dan pengawasan tidak langsung.

Abstract

Schools libraries really need a proper management and innovative resources that can manage well.

This research is aimed to describe and analyze (1) Service planning of library users in order to increase students’ interest in reading in SMA Panca Marga 1 Lamongan; (2) Service organizing of library users libraries in order to increase students’ interest in reading in SMA Panca Marga 1 Lamongan; (3) Bringing human resources to take part in serving the library users libraries in order to increase students’ interest in reading in SMA Panca Marga 1 Lamongan; (4) Service control of library users libraries in order to increase students’ interest in reading in SMA Panca Marga 1 Lamongan.

The result showed that (1) service planning of library users libraries in order to increase students’ interest in reading in SMA Panca Marga 1 Lamongan conducted three programs. Those were (a) short period program; (b) long period program; (c) annual working program. (2) Service organizing of library users libraries in order to increase students’ interest in reading in SMA Panca Marga 1 Lamongan. Service organizing of library users was a task that was done by head of library before and when doing the service for library users. This task was planned for librarian, so the activities of service circulation, reference, and promotions could be done as planned before. (3) Bringing human resources to take part in serving the library users libraries in order to increase students’ interest in reading in SMA Panca Marga 1 Lamongan. Bringing human resource to take part was aimed to provide a proper service based on students’ needs. There were two activities which weare done by the resources. Those were(a) circulation service, reference, and promotion; (b)alternative class. (4) Service control of library users libraries in order to increase students’ interest in reading in SMA Panca Marga 1 Lamongan was done directly and indirectly.
