PENGARUH BIMBINGAN KARIR DAN PRAKTIK KERJA INDUSTRI TERHADAPKEMATANGAN PILIHAN KARIR SISWA KELAS XI DI SMK NEGERI 1 KOTA MOJOKERTO

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh bimbingan karir dan praktik kerja industri terhadap kematangan pilihan karir siswa di SMK Negeri 1 Kota Mojokerto. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan sampel sebanyak 224 responden. Data hasil penelitian di analisis menggunakan program SPSS 21.0.

Hasil penelitian ini menghasilkan dua kesimpulan berdasarkan hasil uji T nilai signifikansi bimbingan karir (X1) berpengaruh terhadap kematangan pilihan karir siswa (Y) yaitu sebesar 0,000, serta variabel praktik kerja industri (X2) secara parsial berpengaruh terhadap variabel kematangan pilihan karir sebesar 0,000. Hasil penelitian berdasarkan hasil uji F untuk mengetahui hubungan antara bimbingan karir (X1) dan praktik kerja industri (X2) terhadap kematangan pilihan karir (Y) siswa diketahui bahwa nilai signifikansi sebesar 44,8%.

Berdasarkan dengan hasil penelitian maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh bimbingan karir dan praktik kerja industri terhadap kematangan pilihan karir siswa yang diperoleh sebesar 0,000. Nilai signifikan ini lebih kecil dari nilai alpha yaitu 0,05 dengan demikian H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima, maka dapat diartikan bimbingan karir dan praktik kerja industri secara bersama-sama berpengaruh terhadap kematangan pilihan karir siswa di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Negeri 1 Kota Mojokerto. Adapun besarnya pengaruh bimbingan karir dan praktik kerja industri terhadap kematangan pilihan karir siswa sebesar 28,9%.

This study aims to determine the effect of career guidance and industrial work practices on the maturity of student career choices of students in the State Vocational School 1 of Mojokerto City. This study uses a quantitative method with a sample of 224 respondents. The research data was analyzed using the SPSS 21.0 program.

The results of this study resulted in two conclusions based on the results of the T test the significance of career guidance (X1) affect the maturity of student career choices (Y) that is equal to 0,000, and industrial work practice variables (X2) partially influence the career choice maturity variable of 0,000. The results of the study are based on the results of the F test to find out the relationship between career guidance (X1) and industrial work practices (X2) on the career choice maturity (Y) of students that the significance value is 44.8%.

Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that there is an influence of career guidance and industrial work practices on the maturity of student career choices obtained at 0,000. This significant value is smaller than the alpha value that is 0.05, thus H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, it can be interpreted career guidance and industrial work practices together to influence the maturity of the career choices of students in the State Vocational School 1 of Mojokerto City. The magnitude of the influence of career guidance and industrial work practices on the maturity of student career choices is 28.9%.
