PEMANFAATAN APLIKASI AKSARANESIA.CO UNTUK MENGOPTIMALKAN GERAKAN LITERASI SEKOLAH DI SMA INTENSIF TARUNA PEMBANGUNAN SURABAYA
Abstract
The government-promoted School Literacy Movement (GLS) aims to improve students' writing skills and interest in reading. All levels of education, whether elementary, junior high or high school, are required to implement the GLS program. Therefore, all school members should pay special attention to optimizing the GLS program at school. However, Surabaya Intensive Taruna Development High School (ITP) has not carried out GLS activities due to several problems, namely the absence of monitoring that controls the activities of students, the lack of sources of reading material, and the excessive use of gadgets. The purpose of this scientific article is to find out the impact of implementing the aksaranesia.co application. The method used is to use action research the Kemmis and Mc Taggart models using 2 cycles. The final result in implementing the application, namely the teacher was very enthusiastic and involved in implementing the GLS program, students' reading interest was found to increase in the percentage of 15% where initially 77% rose to 99%, which means that the existence of the aksaranesia.co application is able to increase students' interest in literacy, increase interest in reading, and facilitate students to get used to writing. Aksaranesia.co is an effective choice because students can carry out literacy activities whenever and wherever they want. Students also have readiness in facing the digitalization era by being accustomed to interacting using technology.
