Abstract

The presence of educators or teachers within the scope of education is essential to fulfill all the needs of students, enabling a teacher to conduct educational activities with a student professionally. Successful learning activities can take place when there is a cohesive relationship between educators and students, which is expected to result in new insights and experiences for all parties involved, especially for students, so they can have equal learning opportunities and achieve quality education in line with the fourth Sustainable Development Goal (SDG), which is Quality Education. This research aims to examine the description of teachers' professionalism in implementing the curriculum, encompassing their knowledge, skills, and attitudes in applying the Thailand Basic Education Core Curriculum at Banlanga School, Chana, Thailand. Researcher used a qualitative method with a case study approach. Data collection techniques consisted of observation, interviews, and document analysis involving key informants such as the school principal, subject coordinators, and English teachers at Banlanga School. The conclusions drawn from the research include: (1)Teachers' knowledge of professionalism in implementing the curriculum at Banlanga School is aligned with the standards and regulations of the Thailand Basic Education Core Curriculum, supported by the school leadership's role in strengthening teachers' understanding of the curriculum standards and rules (2) Teachers' skills related to professionalism in implementing the curriculum consist of planning, implementation, and evaluation of structured learning. Teachers at Banlanga School engage in sharing with their fellow teachers, regularly discuss and consult with the school leadership, show a high level of curiosity in learning-related knowledge and information, and have easy access to platforms for regular monitoring by the school leadership. (3) Teachers' attitudes concerning professionalism in implementing the curriculum involve carrying out their duties as teachers, building effective communication with the school leadership and students, ensuring smooth learning processes, and paying full attention to their students' needs.
