The Role Of Theachers In Managing Project For Strengthening Pancasila Student Profiles (P5)

Abstract

The Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (also known as P5) is a mandatory program in the independent curriculum which consists of intracurricular learning and project-based learning. The aim of this research is to find out the role of teachers in managing the program of P5 at Bhayangkara Elementary School, Yogyakarta. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach to provide a comprehensive understanding of a phenomenon, collecting data using observation, interviews, and documentation methods. This research took teachers and 4th grade students as subjects with the informant was the Deputy Principal or head of curriculum team P5, class four teachers, Parents of students, collaboration partners of the kompitu hijau farming community at Bhayangkara Elementary School, Yogyakarta. Meanwhile, for data validity, triangulation is used. The data analysis techniques consist of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions or verification. Based on the research results on the role of teachers in managing the P5 program at SD Negeri Bhayangkara Yogyakarta, there are four research focuses which include: planning, organizing, implementing, and monitoring and evaluating.
