Pengaruh Kualitas Sarana dan Prasarana Terhadap Citra Lembaga di UPT SMP Negeri 7 Gresik

Abstract

This study was conducted with the aim of determining the results of the level of quality of facilities and infrastructure, an overview of the level of the institutional image, and the influence of the quality of facilities and infrastructure on the institutional image. The study used a descriptive quantitative method with a sampling technique of proportionate stratified random sampling for student totaling 214 respondents and saturated sampling for teacher totaling 29 respondents and staff totaling 13 respondents. Based on the data obtained in this study through a questionnaire using a likert scale, the respondents were students and education personnel at UPT SMP Negeri 7 Gresik. The results of the research indicate that (1) the quality of facilities and infrastructure at UPT SMP Negeri 7 Gresik is in the high category; (2) the institutional image at UPT SMP Negeri 7 Gresik is in the high category; (3) there is a positive and significant influence of the quality of facilities and infrastructure on the institutional image at UPT SMP Negeri 7 Gresik, as indicated by a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05 for student and education personnel respondents. Furthermore, from the data analysis in this study, it is known that the influence given according to student respondents is 0.122 or 12.2%, while from education personnel respondents, it is obtained as 0.404 or 40.4%. Thus, the conclusion drawn from this study is that the quality of facilities and infrastructure affects the institutional image at UPT SMP Negeri 7 Gresik. Therefore, the institutional image can be enhanced with the presence of quality school facilities and infrastructure.
