Abstract

This study aims to determine and describe how the Implementation of Academic Supervision of Principals in Realizing Teacher Performance (Case Study at State Senior High School 2 Mojokerto). The research approach used is a qualitative approach. The data collection techniques used are interviews, observations and also documentation with data analysis using data condensation, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results showed that (1) The implementation of academic supervision in Mojokerto City Senior High School 2 was conducted by using coaching method with the implementation time in August-September in odd semester and in February-March in even semester; (2) The quality of teachers' performance in Mojokerto City Senior High School 2 still needs to be improved. The need for attention to the duties and responsibilities of teachers in carrying out the learning process; 3) The scheduled academic supervision schedule is very helpful for teachers in preparing for academic supervision; (4) Supervisors are active in conducting supervision in following up the results of the academic supervision evaluation
