Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Peran Kepala Sekolah dalam Implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka di UPT SDN 337 Gresik, dengan fokus penelitian sebagai berikut (1) Mendeskripsikan peran kepala sekolah sebagai manajerial dalam implementasi kurikulum merdeka. (2) Mendeskripsikan peran kepala sekolah sebagai administrator dalam implementasi kurikulum merdeka. (3) Mendeskripsikan peran kepala sekolah sebagai supervisor dalam implementasi kurikulum merdeka. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode kualitatif. Subjek dari penelitian ini adalah Kepala Sekolah, Koordinator Kurikulum, Guru. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah teknik observasi, wawancara, serta dokumentasi. Keabsahan data menggunakan cara triangluasi sumber, teknik, dan member check. Analisis data dilakukan melalui pengumpulan data kondensasi, penyajian data, dan menarik kesimpulan dari verifikasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukk sebagai berikut, (1) Peran kepala sekolah sebagai manajerial dalam Implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka di UPT SDN 337 Gresik yaitu dengan membantu menyusun perencanaan kurikulum seperti menganalisi CP, membuat TP, ATP, dan Modul Ajar, pengarahan dan pengendalian SDM, pengorganisasian implementasi kurikulum merdeka dengan pembagian tugas serta tanggung jawabnya masing - masing. (2) Peran kepala sekolah sebagai supervisor dalam Implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka di UPT SDN 337 Gresik meliputi pengawasan kegiatan pembelajaran secara langsung, penilaian, serta pembinaan tenaga pendidik/guru. (3) Peran kepala sekolah sebagai administrator dalam Implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka di UPT SDN 337 Gresik yaitu mengechek dokumen perencanaa pembelajaran, mengechek pelaksanaan organisasi, dan sebagai koordinator.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the role of the principal in the implementation of the Independent Curriculum at UPT SDN 337 Gresik, with the research focus as follows (1) Describe the role of the principal as a manager in implementing the independent curriculum. (2) Describe the role of the school principal as an administrator in implementing the independent curriculum. (3) Describe the role of the school principal as supervisor in implementing the independent curriculum. This research was conducted using qualitative methods. The subjects of this research are School Principals, Curriculum Coordinators, Teachers. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews and documentation techniques. The validity of the data uses triangulation of sources, techniques and member checks. Data analysis is carried out through condensation data collection, data presentation, and drawing conclusions from verification. The research results show the following, (1) The role of the principal as managerial in the Implementation of the Independent Curriculum at UPT SDN 337 Gresik, namely by helping to prepare curriculum planning such as analyzing CP, creating TP, ATP, and Teaching Modules, directing and controlling human resources, organizing curriculum implementation independent with their respective divisions of duties and responsibilities. (2) The role of the principal as supervisor in the Implementation of the Independent Curriculum at UPT SDN 337 Gresik includes direct supervision of learning activities, assessment, and coaching of teaching staff/teachers. (3) The role of the principal as an administrator in the Implementation of the Independent Curriculum at UPT SDN 337 Gresik is checking learning planning documents, checking organizational implementation, and as coordinator.
