PEMANFAATAN MEDIA ONLINE SEBAGAI MEDIA PROMOSI UPT SDN 334 GRESIK
Abstract
Public relations management is an important part of school management to achieve the school's vision and mission. Based on existing research, digital and traditional promotions have the impact of increasing the number of students in a school. UPT SDN 334 Gresik uses social media for digital promotion but experiences a decrease in PPDB every year. This research aims to analyze the use of online media as promotional media for UPT SDN 334 Gresik, identify challenges and obstacles in its implementation, and find steps, strategies and tips to overcome these challenges. The method used is descriptive qualitative methods with Miles Hubberman analysis techniques. The data sources used come from observations and documentation in the field and are supported by interviews with 10 sources consisting of school principals, teachers, parents and community leaders. The results obtained in this research are that there is a need for strategic promotion related to school branding and there is also a need to increase indicators of accessibility, interaction and entertainment in promotions via school social media.
