Abstract

This study aims to describe and analyze the principal's implementation of instructional leadership in realizing professional teacher performance at Roudlotus Salamah Islamic Kindergarten in Gresik Regency. The study used a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation studies involving the principal and teachers as key informants. The results indicate that the principal implements instructional leadership through three main dimensions: establishing the school's vision and mission, managing learning programs, and creating a conducive learning climate. The principal consistently supervises academic performance, monitors learning administration, and encourages teacher professional development through training, workshops, and teacher collaboration. The implementation of this instructional leadership positively contributes to improving teacher performance in planning, implementing, and evaluating learning. This study concludes that the principal's instructional leadership plays a strategic role in promoting teacher professionalism and improving the quality of early childhood education.
