Determinan Initial Return Saham Go Public Tahun 2006-2011

Abstract

Capital market is alternative sector for companies to get more fund in primary market by offering share for the first time to the public generally, this activity called as Initial Public Offering (IPO). By selected the study period from 2006 until 2011, got the numbers of obtained sample were 91 companies. This research simultaneously showed that reputation underwriter, share offered, return on assets, earning per share, and price earning ratio have a correlation with level of initial return. The research also partially showed that underwriter reputation, return on assets, and price earning ratio have significant effect to the level of initial return. While the other independent variables such as share offered and earning per share have not effect to the level of initial return.
