PENGARUH COUNTRY OF ORIGIN TERHADAP PERSEPSI KUALITAS PADA PRODUK KOSMETIK DARI NEGARA ASEAN

The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the differences in country of origin effect on the percieved quality by indonesian consumers to cosmetic products from Thailand and Indonesia. This research is conclusive research study,and then analyzed quantitatively and the sampling used snowball sampling as 100 respondents from state university student Surabaya. This measurement in this study using a Likert scale.analysis using t test with SPSS 18 software.
The results showed that Country Of Origin has a significant corelation with perceived quality. So we can knows difference between the Country Of Origin Thailand and Country Of Origin Indonesia about 0,033. Then there is a real difference between Perceived Quality Thailand and Perceived Quality Indonesia about 0,024. it mean there is difference in perception between the two countries in cosmetic products.
