Abstract

The purpose of this research is analyzing employee performance effected by emotional intelligence through work satisfaction. Causality research using a quantitative approach. The sampling technique using samples saturated by the number of 85 respondents at PT. Industri Kemasan Semen Gresik. This research used Partial Least Square with the assistance of smart PLS 3.0 software as the statistical analysis. The results of this research show that employee performance effected by emotional intelligence, work satisfaction effected by emotional intelligence significantly and positively, employee performance effected by work satisfaction significantly and positively, and work satisfaction can be an intervening variable between emotional intelligence on employee performance.
