PENGARUH TEMPERATUR TERHADAP EFEKTIVITAS PERPINDAHAN PANAS MENGGUNAKAN NANOFLUIDA CuO – AIR PADA SHELL AND TUBE HEAT EXCHANGER
This study aims to determine the effect of temperature on the effectiveness of heat transfer using CuO-Air nanofluids, especially in shell and tube type heat exchangers due to increasing demand, especially in the fields of industry and technology. This research was conducted using experimental research methods with the object of research is hot fluid 70ºC, 80ºC, and 90ºC with a mixture of 1% CuO nanofluid in a shell and tube type heat exchanger. The cold fluid is controlled at 30ºC according to room temperature. Data retrieval uses a thermocouple to measure the temperature of the inlet and outlet fluids that are installed at various points of fluid inlet and outlet in the shell and tube type heat exchanger. The results obtained the highest effectiveness at a temperature of 90°C with a mixture of 1% nanofluid is 36% with a heat rate of 8166.7989 Watt. While the lowest effectiveness was obtained at a temperature of 70°C with a mixture of 1% nanofluid which is 32.5% with a heat transfer rate of 5044.5790Watt.
