Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of variations in the coolant radiator as a condenser cooling system on the effectiveness of the condensation process and to determine the differences caused by variations in the condenser coolant to the effectiveness of the condenser. using a variety of coolants. Testing the effect of condenser coolant shows that variations in coolant concentration affect the effectiveness of the condenser with the highest value at variation 3 70% Coolant and 30% condenser water having an effectiveness of 74%. The results of PP plastic pyrolysis showed that the highest amount of liquid was at variation 3 and the lowest was at variation 1, respectively 250 grams and 204 grams. While the highest amount of uncondensable gas in variation 4 and the lowest amount of uncondensable gas in variation 2 of 821 and 741, respectively. In contrast, the highest amount of solid char was found in variation 1 and the lowest amount of solid char was in variation 3 of 260 grams and 177 grams. The effect of using a coolant mixture can increase the distillate efficiency and technical efficiency, but the results of the study show that The energy used in the distillation process has a higher percentage than the energy that can be produced, in this case the relation is the distillation of oil. This happens because the energy requirements needed to cool the condenser are high.
