ESTIMASI WAKTU PEMOTONGAN MENGGUNAKAN MESIN GAS CUTTING DOUBLE WIPRO CG1-100 PADA PROSES PEMBUATAN PLAT API-B-L1 MENJADI PIPE PILE 50 METER DI PT BOSTO PASURUAN

Abstract

Pipe piles are used as pile foundations for ports located in Kalimantan. The manufacture of this pipe pile is based on a request from a customer with size and material specifications are designed by PT Bosto Pasuruan. The manufacture of this pipe pile includes the process of cutting, rolling, and assembling and welding. This cutting process is very important for the suitability of the design and size ordered by consumers. Based on location observations, it is known that PT Bosto Pasuruan uses a gas cutting machine with the Double Wipro CG1-100 brand which has a voltage of 220 volts and can be used automatically.. An API-B-L1 type plate with control variables  used 3 plate sizes is plate with thickness of 30 mm and 24 mm, the designed sizes are 30x3000x9600 for the front, 24x3000x9600 for the back and the last one is for the pegs or supports to be buried into the ground. designed with a size of 30x2000x9600. The plate sheet which has an initial length of 9600 mm is cutting into 2 parts so that it is made into a size according to the specifications of the pipe pile to be designed, namely 4618 mm per plate for a thickness of 30 mm and 4638 per plate for a thickness of 24 mm.

This plate cutting uses a gas cutting machine Double Wipro CG1-100 with the addition of variations in cutting speed to find the estimated time of cutting, the variationts is 240 mm, 260 mm and 280 mm. A plate with a size of 30 mm with a length of 3000x4618 has the fastest estimated time with a time of 16.49 minutes using a cutting speed variation of 280 mm/minute while the slowest time estimation is 19.24 minutes using a cutting speed variation of 240 mm/minute. A plate with a size of 24 mm with a length of 3000x4638 has the fastest estimated time with a time of 16.56 minutes using a cutting speed variation of 280 mm/minute while the slowest time estimation is 19.32 minutes using a cutting speed variation of 240 mm/minute.
