This study aims to determine the best quality of making mixed biobriquettes from coconut shell charcoal and banana frond charcoal with variations in the size of the raw material charcoal mesh. The method used in this study is an experiment by mixing the two raw materials to make biobriquettes. The variable used in this study is a different size of charcoal powder with the same mixture of raw materials, namely 80 grams of coconut charcoal, 20 grams of banana frond charcoal with a comparison of coconut charcoal mesh and banana frond charcoal, namely mesh 80: mesh 40, mesh 60: mesh 40, mesh 40: mesh 40. The adhesive used is tapioca flour of 5 grams with a ratio of 1 : 10 to water. Biobriquettes are tested for quality in the laboratory including calorific value, moisture content, ash content, flying substance content, and bound carbon content. From the results of the research, the best variation of the mesh size used is mesh coconut shell charcoal 80: mesh banana frond charcoal 40, with a calorific value of 8517.89 cal/gr, moisture content 3.3%, ash content 19.5%, fly matter content 0.84%, bonded carbon content 76.36%.
