STUDI TENTANG FAKTOR-FAKTOR YANG MENDORONG REMAJA MELAKUKAN PERNIKAHAN DINI DI KECAMATAN KEMLAGI KABUPATEN MOJOKERTO

Abstract

The purpose of this study were to know the factors that motivated the teenagers to get early mariage in Kemlagi district, Mojokerto regency. This study was done by using qualitative and the design that was used is case study. Informants in this study were classified into the main informant and supporting informant. The main informant is teenagers age 15-21 years old wich get early mariage  in Kemlagi district, Mojokerto regency. while supporting informant is the main informant’s parents and The head of  KUA Kemlagi district, Mojokerto regency. The data of the study were got by using interview method, observation, and documentation. The technique used to analyze the data using the model of Miles and Huberman. it consists of data collection, data reduction and conclusion. While techniques for checking the validity of data using triangulation (sources and techniques). The Motive theory and the theory of Maslow's needs is used for initial foothold in this study, Maslow said that the needs of human as motivator which shapes the hierarchy or stage of rank, this theory is some like motif to get early mariage at teenagers. Research findings point out that the theory of needs Maslow are not always consistent with the fact. The result of this study showed that the factors that motivate the teenagers to get early marriage in Kemlagi district, Mojokerto are coused by internal factors which have relationship with requirement about love, while the external factors are related to economy factor and education Kemlagi society that low, cultural influence on the mindset of the people, the influence of peers, the parent want to avoid of disgrace, the strong desire by teenagers to get early married.
