HUBUNGAN ANTARA PERSEPSI TERHADAP DUKUNGAN SOSIAL TEMAN SEBAYA DAN KONSEP DIRI DENGAN PENYESUAIAN DIRI DI SEKOLAH PADA SISWA KELAS UNGGULAN

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian korelasional yang meneliti hubungan antara dua variabel bebas terhadap satu variabel terikat. Subyek penelitian adalah siswa kelas unggulan di SMP Negeri 1 Kalitengah, Lamongan. Populasi dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 50 siswa. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan angket. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis Chi-Square dan uji koefisien kontingensi. Hsilnya menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan yang signifikan dan positif antara persepsi terhadap dukungan sosial teman sebaya dengan penyesuaian diri di sekolah, konsep diri dengan penyesuaian diri di sekolah, dan persepsi terhadap dukungan sosial teman sebaya dengan konsep diri. Nilai positif menunjukkan bahwa kenaikan variabel X diikuti pula oleh kenaikan variabel Y.

Abstract

This research is the correlation research that studied between two free variables to a bound variable. The subject of research was superior class’ students in SMP Negeri 1 Kalitengah, Lamongan. The population of this research was 50 students. The data collection in this research used questionnaire.And the method analysis of data that was used is Chi-Square and Coeficient Contingency analysis. The results showed the significant relation and positif value between perception of peer social support with adjustment at school, self concept with adjustment at school, and perception of peer social support with adjustment at school. The positif value showed that the increase in the variable X followed by an increase in the variable Y.
