PENERAPAN TEKNIK SOSIODRAMA UNTUK MENINGKATKAN RASA PERCAYA DIRI DALAM KETERAMPILAN BERKOMUNIKASI SISWA SMA NEGERI 1 PACET MOJOKERTO

Abstract

 

 This research to know the use of sociodrama in group guidance to improve students’ confidence in communication at State Senior High School 1Pacet Mojokerto. The subjects of this research are the students of science 4 at eleventh grade of State Senior High School 1 Pacet Mojokerto. Based on the questionnaire on the pre test, the researcher found 9 among 35 students have low confidence in communication. Their characteristics are, they are not sure to state their argument, they are doubt to ask the teacher, they are difficulties when they are presenting in front of the class, and they are doubt in answering the questions. After the students were given sociodrama technique, the result of the post test shows that there is an improvement of students’ confidence. This test is a Pre Test and Post Test One Group Design. Than ρ= 0,016 is lower than α =0,05. it shows the difference scores of confidence in communication. The data analysis used in this research is sign test Wilcoxon. It can be know that the lowest score Tcount=0 if (α) mistake level 5% (Two sides test), so the Ttabel=6 and N=9. Based on that data (Tcount<Ttabel) or (0<6). It can be concluded that the use of sociodrama in group guidance can improve students’ confidence in communication at State Senior High School 1 Pacet Mojokerto
