Abstract

ABSTRACT

The goal of research was to know the different thing of score the courage asks students class VIII-E in SMP Negeri 1 Babat Lamongan between before and after the application of assertive training. The research was quantitative research with one group pre test and post test design. The subject of this study were six students of class VIII-E in SMP Negeri 1 Babat Lamongan that was categorized low for courage asks. The data collecting method of low courage asks students were questionnaire. The data analysis technique that was used in this research was statistic non parametric by using Wilcoxon Test. Based on calculation results gathered showing that T count >T table (2 > 0,000) so the Ho is rejected. It means that the research hypothesis (Ha) that says “the application of assertive training can be used to improve the courage asks of VIII-E students in SMP Negeri I Babat Lamongan” are accepted.
